My advice as a sister in Christ, trust that God is able to defend himself...fighting LGF in his thread just makes folks read his OP and promotes his false doctrine. I would rather fight him this way....by showing how judgemental and robotic his posts are. You will notice he has started posting links to his thread?
Ariel, I have never come here to fight with you dear. I have only always posted God's WORD to help you because I care for you. It is kind of sad that you feel the need to fight but this is not your fight with me as God's WORD that I post are not my words but God's WORD. You will find yourself fighting with God if you reject his WORDS to follow the traditions and teachings of men that break the Commandments of God.

He would rather people not read the truth presented in this one.
What truth do you believe you have presented in this thread. You present some scripture but it is unrelated to the thread or the topic. You have not provided a single scripture in support of your thread topic which is "Gods Sabbath should be kept EVERY DAY!"

Maybe you can answer these questions from God's WORD? (Sola Scriptura)

1. That God's 4th Commandment has now been ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a HOLY day?

2. That Jesus is a Sabbath?

3. The Sabbath (seventh day) was ever changed from the seventh to the first day of the week?

4. Where we are told to keep the first day of the week holy?

5. Where the first day of the week (Sunday) is ever called a holy day?

6. That says that Jesus ever kept the first day (Sunday)?

7. That tells us to keep the first day in honour of the resurrection of Christ?

8. Where the first day is ever given any sacred name?

9. That affirms that any of the apostles ever kept the first day as the Sabbath?

10. From any apostolic writings that authorizes Sunday observance as the Sabbath of God?

11. Where we are told not to work on the first day of the week?

12. That says the seventh day is no longer God's Sabbath day?

13. That says the seventh day Sabbath is ABOLISHED?

14. Where the apostles ever taught any convert to keep the first day of the week as a Sabbath?

15. Where the first day was ever appointed to be kept as the Lord's Day?

16. Where the first day of the week is ever called the Lord's Day?

17. That says that the first day of the week was ever sanctified and hallowed as a day of rest?

18. That says that the Father or the Son (Jesus) rested on the first day of the week?

19. That says that Jesus, Paul or any other of the apostles taught anyone to observe the first day of the week as the Sabbath?

20. That calls the seventh day the “Jewish Sabbath” or one text that calls Sunday the “Christian Sabbath”?

21. Telling man to keep the first day of the week holy or to worship or rest on the first day of the week?

22. Authorizing anyone to set aside God's Sabbath and observe any other day?

23. Showing any of the apostles keeping the first day of the week as the Sabbath?

24. Authorizing someone to set aside the fourth Commandment and observe any other day of the week?

25. Where any apostle taught us to keep the first day of the week as the Sabbath?

26. Declaring that the seventh day is no longer the Eternal Sabbath day?

27. Where Sunday is now appointed to be kept as the New Testament Sabbath or holy day?

If your lamp has gone out how can you find your way when the road is dark and narrow is the way?

God's Sheep hear his Voice.

SIN is the breaking of God's Commandments (James 2:9-11; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4)

Those who CONTINUE in UNREPENTANT SIN will NOT enter into the KINGDOM of HEAVEN.

................

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12).

If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has led many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if
we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

There is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says that God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to KEEP Sunday as a Holy day.

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

In times of ignorance God winks at but now ,<when a KNOWLEDGE of the truth has come> calls all men everywhere to REPENT (FOLLOW) (Acts 17:30-31).

Same cut and paste....

My answer remains, the same...you preach mount Sinai And the Old Covenant laws...,I listen to Jesus and His new covenant laws.

We don't agree because you are of Hagar.

Plenty of scriptures have been provided but you see them through a veil and reject God's truth.

Yes these are God's WORD that have been posted to you and here you are not able to reply to the scriptures sent to help you. Or can you answer the questions that challenge your traditions. Only God's WORD is true and we should believe and follow it. This should be a warning to help you dear nothing more and nothing less.

Yeah I read my question and thought I may have been unclear...sorry about that.

What's I'm asking is:

Considering the law is our schoolmaster that leads one to Christ; if a brand new believer - converted from the world and into the family of God - is encouraged to "rest in the peace of God", how do they learn how to do that if they never practice obeying the Sabbath day even once after conversion, knowing that's the spiritual purpose behind the Sabbath?

Oh. Okay...so you're asking...how can we ever experience God inwardly if we don't do certain things outwardly?

LGF, your questions show the ignorance of what I have been posting the whole time.

.I believe we keep every day Holy.

Why should I answer your questions when you just cut and paste rhetoric questions you don't even care to have answered?

Go back and take all the questions about Sunday and toss them out, because like I said...

God commands we keep every day Holy.

Only other statement I stand beside is that Jesus is our Sabbath rest.

If He isn't yours, then that is a very sad statement for you.

Isn't the physical body "flesh and blood and bone"?

Those passages are about circumcision not about the sabbath. In fact, remember this was the final judgment on the matter.

Acts 15:19 “It is my judgment, therefore, that we should not make it difficult for the Gentiles who are turning to God. 20 Instead we should write to them, telling them to abstain from food polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from the meat of strangled animals and from blood. 21 For the law of Moses has been preached in every city from the earliest times and is read (post-Pentecost) in the synagogues on every Sabbath.

...so converts were going to their "church" every sabbath to listen to the scriptures. And interestingly enough the discussion the early apostles were having in Acts 15 had to do with new converts. So even more so; how does a new convert today learn how to truly rest in Christ, if the very spiritual purpose of the Sabbath is to show them how (as the schoolmaster) but they've never practiced it?

We all understand that everyone who enters into the family of God are first considered babes, and we all must grow spiritually.
Ah...this seems a little muddled to me...
you look at the law as a schoolmaster to bring us to Christ in the sense that you must do the law to meet Him. But none of us were doing the law when we met Him. Or...at least I wasn't.

I didn't see that question...my answer would be that we are called to carry one another's burdens....a new believer learns to rest when their brothers and sisters take their burdens by walking along side, listening and praying with them.

They learn to rest in Christ by watching mature Christians loving one another and focusing on God instead of the world.
.they learn to rest when they pray and are given God's peace.

They learn to rest when they read the Bible and it makes SENSE to them via the HOLY SPIRIT.

They leaen to rest when they trust that God will finish the good work He started in their heart and lives.

I see and here you are not able to answer them?

I believe we keep every day Holy
Yet there is not one scripture in God's WORD that says EVERY DAY IS HOLY but God says the SEVENTH DAY is HOLY and you do not BELIEVE him.

Why should I answer your questions when you just cut and paste rhetoric questions you don't even care to have answered?
You do not need to answer those questions if you cannot. If you cannot then you should think to yourself is what you believe correct or not? Maybe you can pray about those questions at home. Your salvation is between you and God not men and you.

Only other statement I stand beside is that Jesus is our Sabbath rest.
Where does it say that Jesus is a Sabbath (Sola Scriptura)?

I can find Jesus is the LORD or creator of the SABBATH but I do not think Jesus created himself. I see that God's WORD says the SABBATH is the SEVENTH DAY of the week.

So if the Sabbath is the SEVENTH DAY of the week and there is NO scripture that says Jesus is a SABBATH then I think you have a scripture problem don't you?

Only God's WORD is true and we should BELIEVE and FOLLOW him who calls us in LOVE to LOVE another.

Your ignorance is that you don't understand why God established the Sabbath or what it truly means to keep the Sabbath in Spirit and Truth and not just letter of the Law given at Mount Sinai.

If you did, you would know that Jesus is our Sabbath rest.

Answer this question and I will answer about Sunday:

Why do you seek to enslave people to the Old Covenant laws given on Mount Sinai instead of learn what Jesus taught in His sermon on the mount?

I didn't even know the 10 commandments when I got saved. Afterwards, my schoolmaster was Jesus' and his apostles' and prophets' words.

I don't have time to type up lengthy articles but for those who are interested...here are a few..

https://www.gotquestions.org/Jesus-Sabbath.html

The various elements of the Sabbath symbolized the coming of the Messiah, who would provide a permanent rest for His people. Once again the example of resting from our labors comes into play. With the establishment of the Old Testament Law, the Jews were constantly "laboring" to make themselves acceptable to God. Their labors included trying to obey a myriad of do’s and don’ts of the ceremonial law, the Temple law, the civil law, etc. Of course they couldn’t possibly keep all those laws, so God provided an array of sin offerings and sacrifices so they could come to Him for forgiveness and restore fellowship with Him, but only temporarily. Just as they began their physical labors after a one-day rest, so, too, did they have to continue to offer sacrifices. Hebrews 10:1 tells us that the law "can never, by the same sacrifices repeated endlessly year after year, make perfect those who draw near to worship." But these sacrifices were offered in anticipation of the ultimate sacrifice of Christ on the cross, who "after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right of God" (Hebrews 10:12). Just as He rested after performing the ultimate sacrifice, He sat down and rested—ceased from His labor of atonement because there was nothing more to be done, ever. Because of what He did, we no longer have to "labor" in law-keeping in order to be justified in the sight of God. Jesus was sent so that we might rest in God and in what He has provided.

Another element of the Sabbath day rest which God instituted as a foreshadowing of our complete rest in Christ is that He blessed it, sanctified it, and made it holy. Here again we see the symbol of Christ as our Sabbath rest—the holy, perfect Son of God who sanctifies and makes holy all who believe in Him. God sanctified Christ, just as He sanctified the Sabbath day, and sent Him into the world (John 10:36) to be our sacrifice for sin. In Him we find complete rest from the labors of our self-effort, because He alone is holy and righteous. "God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God" (2 Corinthians 5:21). We can now cease from our spiritual labors and rest in Him, not just one day a week, but always.

I've had enough of this telling people they won't see the Kingdom if they go to church on Sunday instead of Saturday. You have plainly stated it several times to people. We are mature and it won't bring any harm to us to hear you say this. But you could bring a lot of harm to someone less mature. You are reported.

Early Christians meet and ate and worshipped God EVERY day...they were like a family and had dinner together and spoke about their Dad's teaching and will for their lives as often as they could.

https://www.gotquestions.org/Sabbath-keeping.html

When did the early Christians meet? Acts 2:46-47 gives us the answer, “Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.” If there was a day that Christians met regularly, it was the first day of the week (our Sunday), not the Sabbath day (our Saturday) (Acts 20:7; 1 Corinthians 16:2). In honor of Christ’s resurrection on Sunday, the early Christians observed Sunday not as the “Christian Sabbath” but as a day to especially worship Jesus Christ.
Acts 20
7 On the first day of the week, when we were gathered together to break bread, Paul talked with them, intending to depart on the next day, and he prolonged his speech until midnight.

****

1 Corinthians 16
2 On the first day of every week, each of you is to put something aside and store it up, as he may prosper, so that there will be no collecting when I come.

****

To show that Christians meet and worshipped and listened to preaching on Sunday...therefore it's not the mark of the Beast to worship God on Sunday.

It's not our fault. The bright light of your holiness is what has blinded us. :D
No need to be sarcastic, we should be holy as HE is holy...
1Joh 1v7, But if we walk in the light as he is in the light we have fellowship one with another.....

no need for anyone to walk in darkness or to be blinded.
'Come to me...says the Lord of the Sabbath !

If I hear out of your mouth that we are in disobedience and danger of not entering the Kingdom to worship on Sunday or ANY day other than Saturday, I will report you too. Fair warning. I do NOT want to speak this way to an 88 year old woman. But you are on a Christian website and are NOT allowed to carry babies away in your jaws. End of discussion on it.

Let me set this mistake straight. I wasn't mocking God. I was mocking you.
mistake ? GOD commands the sabbath day to be kept holy and we should be 'mocked for doing so ?

Lord forgive them they don't know what they say !

You have stated elsewhere, as you were avidly supporting the one who was banned, that we do not worship the same God you do because we go to church on Sunday. Keep it up. We aren't going to stand for it any more.
