John 10:12 KJV
But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.

Here is an example of a False christian -----when trouble comes they flee ------and the enemy devours and scatters the flock ------sad but true -----and the Flock's eternal life is doomed ------

Again, what is your point? Posting Scripture without commentary or questions is pointless. We know what the text says… what are you saying about it?

Often the hireling is hired to look after kids, not lambs.

The shepherd looks after their own sheep and will sometimes leave the 99 to look for the one that went astray. But the Good shepherd keeps their flock to manageable size and wont mix the goats with the sheep. The Good shepherd will also do everything to keep the wolf from the door.
