For all the wrangling about eschatology that goes on here. I'd like to suggest a book that does a good job of presenting Bible prophecy.
[h=1]Charts of Bible Prophecy Paperback[/h]
by H. Wayne House (Author) , Randall Price (Author)

I'm not proposing this book because it only presents my understanding of eschatology. It shows the Amillenial biblical perspective, the different views of Daniel 9, the various understanding that we have in Revelation (historicist, futurist, preterist, apocalyptic). It also includes reasons for and against every Rapture theory.

It's a phenomenal book, when you can see prophecy presented clearly and presented in charts no matter the position, it really helps to clarify one's thinking. It also helps one to understand that there are scholars on many sides of the issue, and we all should have humility here.

Barnes' commentary on Revelation which adopts the classic historical perspective on the book following Edward Gibbon's Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire is a very good introduction to the amillennial view. It's a bit old now, having been published in the 19th century but I see it is now online, as is the rest of his commentary on the bible.

One of the books I use alot. And which helped me to sort through all the stuff I had been taught, and help me study this about 15 years ago was "things to come" By J Dwight Pentecost. My mother gave it to me when I was asking her some questions. It also goes through all the differing views and quotes many different people from many different views. I might not agree with everything he said, But it helped me drastically on my way to my current views.
