As the world is being envelope by the Coronavirus, other events that have taken place are not getting as much attention:

Locust hordes plague Africa & Middle East

Of course these are all considered to be natural and have been present throughout history. They do seem to be coming with more frequency.

I’m not one to start proclaiming that the end is nigh, but I do believe that God is giving the inhabitants of the Earth a warning shot.

Is God pouring out His spirit to call people to לחזור בתשובה (repent) of their ways and turn to the atonement of Christ? I believe He is. Some will respond, sadly most will not.

Here are some things I think Christians should watch.

The world of the flesh is not our world to watch, it is the world of the spirit that is the eternal, lasting one. We have had different ages. An age before the flood, a world that Noah ushered in, an age that Christ ushered in. Fleshly ideas have corrupted each of these ages. Our age started to be corrupted when so many of God's chosen people wee killed that the gentiles took over. They meant well, but they didn't know the only scripture available then, what we now have as OT. They were steeped in knowledge from idol worship and without meaning to, they mixed it in. We are still living with that mix. As an example, the days of the week were named after idols. Sabbath was changed as they Christianized their worship day. All Christian celebrations were changed to theirs that they changed to represent Christ instead of idols. God told them not to do that, but they didn't know scripture.

In the 40's the lord started a new way. God had worked with us in the 1500's, we got the printing press. America was discovered. The corrupt church of the times started being cleaned. Now, God was working again. First came the holocaust. The world had been so against God's chosen people that in some years it was OK to murder them, even. When the world saw the savagery of that holocaust time they changed to wanting them protected. The Jews began making scripture prophecy come true about returning to their land. The dead sea scrolls were found.

All the newspapers of the world wrote about this find, telling us that scripture copies had been found that were much older than any they had found before and scripture was the same then. With all the hand done copies made, it was a miracle they stated the same came the news. But there is a lasting effect Christians need to watch.

Our brightest Christian scholars have been working for years putting these findings together. There are thousands of years between us and the people telling of God's work in our world when it was new and much has changed. It has been most difficult to understand these so ancient writings and much misunderstanding has happened. Here was a link to those years. Some scholars began to organize and called themselves messianic Christians.

What a stink!! The old guard came up fighting. Some new was distorted. But solidly behind it are the ancient Hebrew historians, plodding quietly and steadily on. Our top colleges like Harvard and Yale have hired some of these men. There is a revolution in church doctrine that is worth exploring that this understanding has brought about. God is working in our world. With all the ammunition tossed around it is sometimes difficult to find the solid in it and toss the chaff, but it is worth the struggle.

Could be, I'm certainly expecting a great end time repentance, revival and blessing ..
