Run into those kind of people who are just so bright with Holy Spirit?...or at least appear to be. Their eyes are just white as can be and they just have this presence that really gets your attention.

I wonder if Jesus had that kind of personality.

*****disclaimer***** this is kind of a loaded question.;)

I hate to say it, but no. Not really. Anyone I've been impressed with immediately was always someone who I knew the background already. A Who's Who in Christianity.

(And honestly? Half of them lost the glow quickly, after hearing what they have to say.)

Did I just completely defuse your loaded question? Sadly, I'm not trying for humor now.

A few weeks ago I went to the mall to buy sneakers and a young guy in his early 20's helped me. We spoke nothing of God, yet as I was leaving, I asked him when he was saved. With a surprised look he said 2008 and wanted to know how I knew. I told him the Holy Spirit was all over him. :)

Well, I was typing a response and for me<----I felt that what I wanted to say would be putting too much emphasis on the flesh and I needed to just focus on GOD.

But that is just me :)

Loaded question or not, I believe that we ought to see people like that. Stephen's face apparently shone like that of an angel:

"And all that sat in the council, looking stedfastly on him, saw his face as it had been the face of an angel." (Acts 6:15)

Also, Moses had to wear a veil over his face and that seemingly typified the glory of God as revealed in the face of Jesus Christ:

"And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ." (II Corinthians 3:13-14)

"For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ." (II Corinthians 4:6)

According to scripture, there was nothing about Jesus' appearance that set him apart or made him stand out.

Isaiah 53

Normally, no. However, certain within His inner circle were privileged enough to see Him transfigured before their very eyes.

One guy I worked with when I was younger, had such enthusiasm and joy in his Christian life, he always had a smile on his face. He would be given the worst of jobs and it never dampened his bliss at all. He was just one happy, Spirit-filled guy.

Yeah they were and then wrote we have a more sure word of prophecy and not to trust experience as the word of God trumps experience every time!

Same experience with me. I worked with a guy in the emergency department who was a tech and went above and beyond all the time, and always with a smile. He loved the Lord so very much it was contagious.

One day we were talking and he mentioned his life in Haiti. Turns out, this 5'4" man was at one time a secret service agent for the Haitian President. He did his time, served his nation diligently, then came to America to live life in peace. We always greeted each other with a hug and a, "my bradda". Not brother, but bradda, because of his accent.

A long time ago...in fact it was a galaxy far far away. I worked with this guy. He was on fire for Jesus. Then suddenly...he was just gone. The crazy thing i remember about him is that his eyes were white as snow. They sort of hypnotized you in a way. I was a 20 something kid so maybe that had something todo with it.
