Psalm 37
He Will Not Forsake His Saints
Of David.
1 Fret not yourself because of evildoers;
be not envious of wrongdoers!
2 For they will soon fade like the grass
and wither like the green herb.
3 Trust in the Lord, and do good;
dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness.
4 Delight yourself in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
5 Commit your way to the Lord;
trust in him, and he will act.
6 He will bring forth your righteousness as the light,
and your justice as the noonday.
7 Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him;
fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way,
over the man who carries out evil devices!

It would be rather presumptuous of you, or worse, if you are calling yourself a saint.

Romans 16:1) I commend unto you Phebe our sister, which is a servant of the church which is at Cenchrea:
2 .) That ye receive her in the Lord, as becometh saints, and that ye assist her in whatsoever business she hath need of you: for she hath been a succourer of many, and of myself also.

1st Corinthians 16:1) Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye.

2nd Corinthians 13:11) Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
12 .) Greet one another with an holy kiss.
13 .) All the saints salute you.
14 .) The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.

Ephesians 1:1) Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:

Just a few instances where believers are called "saints" in Scripture..............not presumptuous at all....... :)

We are called saints, we don't follow the Roman Catholic system.It simply means 'set apart', which Christ has done in placing us in His death, burial and resurrection.

I find it kind of hard to believe that people would have a hard time with this scripture! Why would I not want to trust in the lord. what is the problem with that...

I like this! Set apart. Sanctified. Not common. Taken care of, loved.
