Ever in a dark room and you don't want to be so alone? What do you do? Call out, "Anybody out there?"

Does it work?

Usually. If someone is there, they'll answer. If no one answers, no harm, no foul. At least no one thinks your nuts for asking. lol

Why not the same thing with God? As simple as asking, "Hey, God, are you out there? If so, could you make yourself be known to me?"

Warning. It works. It works just as long as you aren't all cocky thinking it won't work for you.

Now you won't get an instant answer. (Or, at least it's not likely.) But start looking for evidence of him, and he'll bring you out of the dark.

When it happens, feel free to come back here and ask the obvious next question. Yes. I know. You have no idea what that obvious next question is. You'll know it when he makes it obvious he's there. Everyone of us that belong to him went through that.

Meanwhile, try to be less cocky. You are 15. The vast majority of people answering you are adults. Show respect for age, if not respect for us as people.
lol wow such a riddle u left for me, i guess ill try it out... and yea who cares if im 15 and ur like older than me? is there some where saying u must respect elders on forums here

lol ok whats the point praying n something or someone if u r not 100% sure he exists
I was a non-believer most of my life, but I prayed to God and asked for guidance and to know His will for my life regardless, even not knowing whether or not He was really there, and even believing that if He was there He was not the God of the Bible as many people believed Him to be (after all, they were all wrong, weren't they?), because I knew there was something more to this world than what the eye could see, and I was on a mission to learn more about whatever that was. Scripture promises that God will reveal Himself to those who diligently seek Him.

How long were you involved in Islam?

thats just an opinion, "All other gods don't change people to the good" what other gods? are they real then?
i dont need to know about israel, i already kno as much that it is an apartheid state
Another troll.
First thing is "I don't want to get banned". Only someone expecting that would say such a thing.
Next thing is to deny a statement. You asked, yet you get offended when someone answers.
Next you already know everything...........clearly you have no reason for being here other than to troll the board.
Tell me, what is it like not having a life? Since I became a believer I have forgotten.

[SUP]20 [/SUP]That they may see, and know, and consider, and understand together, that the hand of the Lord hath done this, and the Holy One of Israel hath created it.
[SUP]21 [/SUP]Produce your cause, saith the Lord; bring forth your strong reasons, saith the King of Jacob.
[SUP]22 [/SUP]Let them bring them forth, and shew us what shall happen: let them shew the former things, what they be, that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them; or declare us things for to come.
[SUP]23 [/SUP]Shew the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that ye are gods: yea, do good, or do evil, that we may be dismayed, and behold it together.
[SUP]24 [/SUP]Behold, ye are of nothing, and your work of nought: an abomination is he that chooseth you.
[SUP]25 [/SUP]I have raised up one from the north, and he shall come: from the rising of the sun shall he call upon my name: and he shall come upon princes as upon morter, and as the potter treadeth clay.
[SUP]26 [/SUP]Who hath declared from the beginning, that we may know? and beforetime, that we may say, He is righteous? yea, there is none that sheweth, yea, there is none that declareth, yea, there is none that heareth your words.
[SUP]27 [/SUP]The first shall say to Zion, Behold, behold them: and I will give to Jerusalem one that bringeth good tidings.
[SUP]28 [/SUP]For I beheld, and there was no man; even among them, and there was no counsellor, that, when I asked of them, could answer a word.
[SUP]29 [/SUP]Behold, they are all vanity; their works are nothing: their molten images are wind and confusion(Isaiah 41:20-29).

God challenges all religions and people to prove that their religion and god is true,by telling the end from the beginning.God told us the whole history of mankind from Adam and Eve to the beast kingdom, and God said no other religion or person would be able to do that.God told us every kingdom that would spring up around the area of Israel, and then the last kingdom entailing the whole world, with the world being split in to ten sections with a leader in each section, and then a man will rule the world, who will be of the occult.

God told Daniel about the end time, things that would happen on a bigger scale than Daniel or anybody would be able to see those things, and Daniel told God he did not understand, and God told him to go his way for he would not be able to understand it,but they will understand in the future because of technology and advanced travel. They would be able to understand the end time because they can see what the world is doing where Daniel could not see that.

God told us concerning the end time before Jesus comes back, what the world is doing, and what they are trying to achieve, and God said it is not of Him and have no part of it.God told us concerning today what the whole world is doing, and they are doing that.

God identifies Himself as a God that does exist, and the only God,by telling the whole history of mankind, and showing us events before they happen,so we will know that He is true, and God said no other religion or man would be able to do that.

Christianity is the only faith whose God paid the penalty Himself for the sins of those who come to Him thru Jesus Christ in faith. Jesus was and is God come in the flesh. Nothing can take away mine, yours or anybody's penalty for sin but Jesus Christ Himself. All He asks is that we call upon His name with a sincere and repentant heart. Nothing "good" any of us might do or think we're doing will make us worthy of God's kingdom. Only repentance of our sins and a faith placed in Jesus Christ can accomplish this ... by His grace and thru His blood shed for you, for me, and even today's inhabitants of Israel. Nobody comes to the Father except thru faith in Jesus Christ. Nobody gets a free pass ..... Israel included. We're all fallen sinners. Yet we're all loved by the Father. He paid and provided the way for us thru Christ and His invitation is extended to all of mankind. I dearly hope you consider my words.

Yes, Christianity is the only religion that recognizes man's inability to save himself by his good works. Jesus( the word of God made a flesh man) paid the price for all sinners. Only God himself could be good enough to meet his standards.

Think of it like this. Man had to pay the penalty for sin. Because no man can be good enough to meet the criteria of a perfect holy God, God himself came to earth in the form of a man. Only this God man could be without any sin. When this sinless man Jesus paid the price for sin ,he paid it for the whole world, all that would accept it. he didn't pay the price for his own sin since he was sinless, he paid it for everyone who would accept it.

All other religions try to make men worthy of God by what they do. In Christianity, God so loved the world that he gave his only son for men so that they could be made righteous by that sacrifice. All other religions are men trying to reach God. Christianity is God reaching out to men.

didnt u also say make a new thread or sumthin lol
Yes, because the Speak Your Mind thread is not for debates, and that fact is clearly laid out in the very first post by the person who originally created that thread, which you may not have read, so I was simply letting you know. Debates happen everywhere else on the Bible Discussion Forum, so it is nice to have a space free and clear of that in the BDF :) Still, I answered your questions without "getting all sensitive."
