1 Kepha 1:13-21, "Therefore, gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the undeserved pardon that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Yahshua Messiah. The meaning of the word is "Be set apart". First of all, I am set apart the minute I receive Christ. For He has taken me into Himself. He has raised me up "above the powers of darkness". He has made me, in this sense, holy.
Secondly, I choose also to be set apart in my walk here on earth - set apart from worldly influences by staying in His word and communing with Him.
