1 Kepha 1:13-21, "Therefore, gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the undeserved pardon that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Yahshua Messiah. As obedient children, do not conform to the former lusts you had when you lived in ignorance; But as He Who called you is holy, so you also become holy in all your conduct; Because it is written Be holy, for I am holy. And if you call on the Father, Who, without respect of persons judges according to each man's work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your sojourning here in reverence; Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, such as silver or gold, from your idolatrous way of life handed down to you by tradition from your forefathers; But with the precious blood of Messiah, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot; Who truly was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you; Who through Him we do believe in Yahweh, Who raised Him up from the dead, and gave Him glory; that your faith and hope might be in Yahweh."

Leviticus 11:43-47, "You shall not make yourselves abominable with any creature that moves about on the ground. Do not defile yourselves by means of them, nor be made unclean by them. I am Yahweh your Heavenly Father. You shall therefore consecrate and sanctify yourselves, and you shall be holy; for I am holy. Neither shall you defile yourselves with any creature that moves about on the ground. I am Yahweh, Who brought you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your Heavenly Father. You shall therefore be holy, for I am holy. This is the Law of the animals, and the birds, and every living thing that moves in the waters, and every creature that moves about on the ground. You must distinguish between the unclean and the clean--between the animal that may be eaten, and the animal that may not be eaten."

Leviticus 19:2-4, "Speak to all the congregation of the children of Israyl, and say to them; You shall be holy, for I, Yahweh, your Heavenly Father am Holy. Every one of you shall honor his mother and his father, and keep My Sabbaths. I am Yahweh your Father. Do not turn to gods nor make for yourselves molten images: I am Yahweh your Father."

Leviticus 20:7-8, "Consecrate and sanctify yourselves therefore, and be holy, for I am Yahweh your Father. You must therefore keep My statutes, and perform and do them; I am Yahweh Who consecrates and sanctifies you."

Romans 7:12-14, "Therefore the Law is holy, and the commandments are holy, and just, and righteous.Did that which is righteous, then, become death to me? By no means! But in order that sin might be recognized as sin, it produced death in me through that which was righteous, so that through the commandments, sin might become utterly sinful. For we know that the Law is spiritual; but I was carnal, sold into the power of sin."

2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Romans 4:21-25 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness. Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

Isaiah 61:10 I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

Romans 3:23-27 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

The meaning of the word is "Be set apart". First of all, I am set apart the minute I receive Christ. For He has taken me into Himself. He has raised me up "above the powers of darkness". He has made me, in this sense, holy.

Secondly, I choose also to be set apart in my walk here on earth - set apart from worldly influences by staying in His word and communing with Him.

Thirdly, I also choose to set Him apart in my heart for total, exclusive devotion and worship.

I interested on which scriptures you would use as a guidance to fulfill God's commandment "Be ye Holy for I am Holy"
Tit 2:11 For the saving grace of God has appeared to all men,
Tit 2:12 instructing us that having denied ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live discreetly and righteously and godly in the present age,
Tit 2:13 looking for the blessed hope and appearance of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,
Tit 2:14 who gave Himself on our behalf, "that He might redeem us from all lawlessness and purify a special people for Himself," zealous of good works. (Psa. 130:8; Eze. 37:23; Deut. 14:2)
Tit 2:15 Speak these things and exhort and convict with all authority. Let no one despise you.

2Ti 2:15 Give diligence to present yourself approved to God, a workman unashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.
2Ti 2:16 But shun profane, empty babblings, for they will go on to more ungodliness,
2Ti 2:17 and their word will have growth like gangrene, of whom are Hymenaeus and Philetus,
2Ti 2:18 who missed the mark concerning the truth, saying the resurrection already has come, and overturn the faith of some.
2Ti 2:19 However, the foundation of God stands firm, having this seal, "The Lord knew the ones being His;" (Num. 16:5, 7), also, Let everyone naming the name of Christ depart from unrighteousness.
2Ti 2:20 But in a great house not only are there vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and of earth, and some to honor and some to dishonor.

2Ti 2:21 Then if anyone purifies himself from these, he will be a vessel to honor, having been sanctified and made useful to the Master, having been prepared to every good work.
2Ti 2:22 But flee youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace, with the ones calling on the Lord out of a pure heart.
2Ti 2:23 But refuse the foolish and uninstructed questionings, knowing that they generate quarrels.
2Ti 2:24 But a slave of the Lord ought not to quarrel, but to be gentle towards all, apt to teach, forbearing,
2Ti 2:25 in meekness teaching those who have opposed, if perhaps God may give them repentance for a full knowledge of the truth,
2Ti 2:26 and they having regained senses out of the snare of the devil, being captured by him to do the will of that One.
