They way you misunderstand this verse you are creating Universalism.

Then you don't follow the logic ! For it said many both times Rom 5:19

19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

How are the many made righteous?

By doing righteousness/obeying God's will?

Or do you think they are unconditionally made righteous by God before the world began?

By the obedience of Jesu christ in you you will be obedient

righteousness is RIGHT DOING

we will be made righteous more each day
that is called sanctification.

The ONLY way to be righteous is to
FOLLOW JESUS the WORD OF GOD by FAITH

now Faith - reading and doing Gods word
hearing and doing Gods word

by his grace

grace= the holy spirit living in you if you hear him you cannot do anything wrong

hearing- listening and repenting and changing with every verse you read in the Bible

and lastly

By EVERY WORD of God it is necessary to hear and do by faith

then you become more like Jesus

it is laughable to think you have to do nothing but let Jesus count you righteous.

Demonic religion, that.

OK how is that done?
that goes against everything my church taught me

I know
cause they cant read and do the bible

most churches tell you if you try and DO the Bible you are then SELF RIGHTEOUS and will be lost
only those who stop trying to be obedient, and do whatever they want can be saved....

cant you see the foolish devil in that church?

how would a parent say

Ok my child, there are no rules since you love me
I paid for recleaning the carpet, I paid for fixing the plate glass window, I repainted the shed you burned down so dont try to be good and follow any rules, do whatever you want and I will take care of the details

Once saved always saved religions are insane.

If we have been made a new creation in Christ, everything has changed. We no longer need the law to keep us in line, the Love of God constrains us instead as we are transformed each day into His image. Can't learn how to do that except by the Holy Spirit, not the law. If we try and keep the law, we will fail the way they did in the OT.

We now have the Holy Spirit to teach us all things through the Word of God in our lives. To go back to the law because it seems do-able defeats the whole purpose of Jesus coming. Trusting our works in the law is a whole lot different than trusting God to show us through His Holy Spirit (by faith) HE is a MUCH BETTER WAY :) Praise Jesus!!

We are not puppets, or robots, we need to do something with the help of the Almighty of course. One can't walk unless they take the first step. With the Almighty all things are possible. Telling people that if they try and obey, that they are keeping Jesus on the cross or that His coming was a waste, is wrong. Jesus came to teach us the way, and He is the way. Jesus obeyed the Father, and i think He wants us doing the same. Thank You Father for sending Jesus to show us the way.

This misunderstanding is because we forget that
1. to be righteous you have to be filled with righteousness
2. Only God is righteous.
3. God only fills the obedient but he calls to the sinner to repent
as soon as we repent God forgives and fills us
until we get up on the wrong side of bed then he calls to us
when we get up each morning and repent and turn to God
he fills us with his grace (holy spirit power divine influence)
if we listen to him he remains
if we reject something he tells us he steps out and lets the devil take over and calls to us again
if we repent he throws the devil out and fills your heart again.

when we dont he doesnt

its up to you wether you will be righteous today or not

Keep your mind on Jesus, on his word and God will remain with you.
If you turn on TV and watch AYTHING you have shut out god
TV PROGRAMMING teaches you to hate God and his life style
or if you fight and yell God leaves your heart and goes out the door and starts knocking again to be let in
to be let in you have to give him your whole mind and soul and heart and then he accepts ton come in

once saved always saved is the way every christian will be lost
dont fall for it.
Christian life is a battle against evil that you will always win if you always go to Jesus and get filled with his truth.

King Saul personifies this back and forth battle with demons and he finally lost the war
King David personifies a person who when he realizes he lost the spirit he right away goes to God to get him back into his heart
both were controolled by the devil many times but David pleaded and won
Saul lost.

there is no doubt we change owners many times a day

remain in the word and praise God all day and he will never leave you nor forsake you

every promise is conditional...
depending on what you DO.

You tyell Jesus
get out I want to watch wrestlmania, he will get out.

This is not understood because you have been lied to that the holy spirit is in you and can never leave you
this is a lie
and you are decieved
there is a war
and you are the battleground
your mind and what you think controls the outcome of your war each day.

Many people think they have the holy spirit

the pharisees and saducees when they voted to crucify Jesus thought they were Gods gift to the church
they were controlled by the devil
the babylon church for the last 1200 years thought they were God inspired as they burned everyone who read Bibles

John 16:2 the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.

needless to say they THINK they have the holy spirit
but the DO NOT have the holy spirit

right?

John 16:3 And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.

They NEVER EVER knew God the father or Jesus at all! and they are IN CHARGE!

the people in CHARGE of the religious world (obviously in charge since they can kill who they please) NEVER KNEW GOD!

well how can I know if I am one of those bad guys?

easy

would you kill someone not of your religion?
then you are devil possessed.

People are made righteous by surrundering their whole heart, their whole mind, their whole soul their whole thoughts, their whole time to Jesus the wonderful lovely adorable sweet holy bridegroom.
he fills their heart with right desires forever and they have no interest in smoking pot again.

I know.

This is a lie against the Truth. Paul says this is how many are made Righteous Rom 5:19

19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

Obviously you cannot read ! Here is how Rom 5:19

19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
Paul did not say the many are made sinners unconditionally or made righteous unconditionally.

Many are made sinners for they choose to sin, Rom 5:12 and many are made righteous for they choose to have faith, Rom 5:1,2. This one verse refutes the false teachings of limited atonement and original sin.

hey SeaBass, we were born into sin, we had no choice in the matter. By ONE man's sin "Adam", sin passed on all of us. Romans 5:19 as was put up by svedbygrace. Read this Bible verse in your Bible.
This is the issue you have had all along SeaBass. You are a sinner who needs to be saved. We ALL are sinners that need to be saved. We cannot save ourselves. Only by the sinless sacrafice of Jesus Christ on the cross are we made right with God. We cannot be made right on our own. Just like we were born into sin because we are of Adam's race. Now Jesus has come, the perfect God-Man to fix what Adam messed up.

Each of us has to accept God's available atonement for sin. Not by our own works, but by HIS - Jesus Christ - work on the cross. He paid the price.,penalty, cost, to a Holy God. God turned away from His Son Who was holy and sinless enough to carry our penalty in His sinless body. He was the sinless sacrafice who made atonement for us all.

We chose to sin BECAUSE we are sinners. We are not sinners BECAUSE we sin. We are sinners before we have done any good or bad thing. See if you can wrap your mind around that sentence. :D I had to read it a bunch of times before grasping the truth of it.

Paul did NOT say the many were made sinners UNCONDITIONALLY by being born sinners. That idea is being forced into the verse by savdbygrace.

Rom 5:12 says "...and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" Paul did NOT say "for that all are born sinners".

Rom 5:19 "For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous."

1) v19 is an if-then type statement. If the first part of the verse is true, then the second part is just as true

2) "many" refer to the same people both times. So "IF" it is true many were made sinners UNCONDITIONALLY, "THEN" it is also true that same many will be made righteous UNCONDTIOANLLY and you have Universalism. So again, Paul did not say many were UNCONDITONALLY made sinners or many were UNCONDITIONALLY made righteous.

3) the point being made by Paul is many that have been affected by sin since sin entered the world through Adam, Christ has brought about a cure for that sin by His obedience in dying on the cross. So Christ did not die for just some mythical Calvinistic elect, but died for as many affected by sin.

4) no one is a sinner until they sin as no one is righteous until they do righteousness

Am sort of in shock here SeaBass. How much clearer can it get? "For ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God." no ifs ands or buts. All have sinned. The only ONE Who has not sinned is God.

Not everyone is going to be saved because everyone is not going to accept Jesus Christ. We ALL were born into a sinful race. We are guilty by association with Adam- basically.
No one can work their way out of that.

So yes SeaBass we were sinners before we were even born. AND while u were in your mothers womb.,you were the son of a sinner and born a sinner. (we all came on planet earth that way) It's bad news.

BUT here's the GOOD NEWS! Jesus came and we are made righteous by association sort of speak (IF) we accept Him as our only Saviour.,,the ONLY Mediator between God and man... the man Christ Jesus. His finished work saves us, not our pathetic attempts at goodness.

If you do not believe you are a sinner in need of a Saviour then you are lost in sin and will have to pay the price yourself. And the Bible says "all your righteousnesses are as filthy rags." "There is none that does good, no not one." Please do not try and work your way into God's good graces SeaBass. He already said it can't be done. So He sent Jesus.
We are not saved on THEY INSTALLMENT PLAN. Jesus sacrafice was enough to save us. He doesn't need our help in redemption's story.

The Bible says that all who come to Jesus He will in no way cast them out. He offers salvation to all. But not all will accept. Not sure why you r saying to me "Christ did not die for just some mythical calvinistic elect" I have been saying all along Jesus died for sinners. Of who Paul said "I am chief" All of us are affected by sin...we are DOOMED. That is very affected.

we are all born with the sin nature and it rules over us until we accept Christ and even after we accept christ, if we place our faith in anything other than the work of the cross, the sin nature revives in us.
