Do we get good good to get G-d, or get G-d to get good? What is wrong with us to begin with? How does G-d fit into us or do we need to fit into Him?
He changes us, puts His spirit upon us and guies us:

Psalm 51:10, “Create in me a clean heart, O Yah, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.”

Hebrews 10:16, "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says YHWH: I will put My Law into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them.”

Ezekiel 36:26-28, "A new heart, will I also give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take away the heart of stone out of your flesh, and will give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments, and do them. And you will dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and you will be My people, and I will be your Father."

now His Spirit can depart from us for sin:

Psalms 51:10-11, “Create in me a clean heart, O Mighty One, And renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence, And do not take Your Set-apart Spirit from me.”

and obedience can keep His Spirit upon us:

1 John 3:24, “And the one guarding His commands stays in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He stays in us, by the Spirit which He gave us.”

Romans 2:15, "Who show the work of the Torah (Instructions/Law) written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing (condemning sin) or even excusing (justifying sin)."

but it is Him that changes us.

Jeremiah 31:33, "For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israyl: After those days, says YHWH: I will put My Law (Torah/Instructions) in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts, and I will be their Strength, and they will be My people."

Hebrews 10:16, "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says YHWH: I will put My Law into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them.”

we need to abide in Him:

John/Yahanan 15:5-16, "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, produces much fruit; but without Me, you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away like a branch, and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and letting My words; abide in you, you will ask what you will, and it will be done for you. In this is My Father glorified: when you produce much fruit; and in this way you become My disciples. Just as the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you; continue in My love. If you keep My Commands, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father's Commands, and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you, that My joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be complete. This is My Command: Love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: that one would lay down his life on behalf of his brothers. You are My brothers, if you do whatever I command you."

remaining in Christ after 'enlightenment' is the KEY, it's our 'daily goal/process and one that
we are able to see and discern in ourselves and others, whom God allows us to witness...
a very 'rare blessing, indeed'...

for myself, mrs., Paul is one of my heros among many in the Bible, and so, I
have been blessed with many teachers, along with some right here, whom we
love so much'...

may we all be able to acknowledge the many blessings/gifts, placed right before our
eyes and hearts...

You are My brothers, if you do whatever I command you."

but sadly there are many who try to take Him where they want to go Mat 7v13,14.see for yourself !

He has made everything suited to its time; also, he has given human beings an awareness of eternity; but in such a way that they can’t fully comprehend, from beginning to end, the things God does.

Mat 7:13-14, “Enter in through the narrow gate! Because the gate is wide – and the way is broad – that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter in through it. Because the gate is narrow and the way is hard pressed which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”

Mat 7:15-20, “But beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are savage wolves. By their fruits you shall know them. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes or figs from thistles? So every good tree yields good fruit, but a rotten tree yields wicked fruit. A good tree is unable to yield wicked fruit, and a rotten tree to yield good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. So then, by their fruits you shall know them.”

Mat 7:21-27, “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Master, Master,’ shall enter into the Kingdom of the heavens, but he who is doing the desire of My Father in the heavens. Many shall say to Me in that day, ‘Master, Master, have we not prophesied in Your Name, and cast out demons in Your Name, and done many mighty works in Your Name?’ And then I shall declare to them, ‘I never knew you, depart from Me, you who work lawlessness!’” Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine, and does them, shall be like a wise man who built his house on the rock, and the rain came down, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of Mine, and does not do them, shall be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand, and the rain came down, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and they beat on that house, and it fell, and great was its fall.”

yes, it seems like, really, very weirdly, because as far as i know that particular Hebrew word and its derivatives is pretty common in scripture. an adjective form of it is what is translated "everlasting" all over the OT, instead of "worldly" like you might expect, if the KJV was consistent??

we should ask someone who's actually studied Hebrew. hey Marc? Angela? Old Hermit? help?
Why wouldn't worldly and everlasting would be the same, since neither are eternal.

But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Matt 24:36

The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand. John 3:35

seems a little implausible to fit infinity into a finite container.
God is spirit (John 4:24); viz: God is not a material substance nor does He
have physical dimensions.

David said that God's spirit is everywhere (Ps 139:7-10). Well; everywhere
can't be confined to just one place.

Take for example the Earth's atmosphere; it's everywhere too. But your
lungs have only so much capacity; i.e. your body isn't able to hold all of
Earth's atmosphere; just a little. So it is with God's spirit.
