Why don't you name someone who has been saved because of all our fighting here Bluto?
Well denadii, I can tell you didn't read my post because your still asking the same "ridiculous" question? And btw, why are you here if this place is so bad with fighting? Secondly, I would not ask you to name names of people you have saved "coughing" of people who are on this site. But I will ask you how many people have you convinced that the pre-trib rapture is the correct view since you've been here? There surely must be someone you can name becasue that's all you can talk about or how heretic copeland saved so many souls using one of his top of the line jets to spread the gospel huh?

Welcome back, Creation Tutor! I knew I had not seen you in a long time. And maybe not again soon?

I have learned so much in this forum. I used to be a synergistic, now I am a monergist. I have moved over to the Reformed side of soteriology, although that is also from studying the Bible. Amazing to find out what I had been taught all these years about salvation was wrong. And thanks to all who stand up for the truth on this important issue!

I have confirmed my position on women in ministry, through discussions, and I am seriously considering doing further studies on heresies, I have learned so much refuting people. And if they didn't change, well, that is not on me! I've have done my best to warn them.

I was nearly seduced by a false doctrine, but thanks to people who stood firm concerning repentance, who I disagreed with for months, many of whom were banned, God was able to pull me out of that hypergrace heresy, using the Word of God.

I have learned to draw closer to God, to worship and praise him in all things, through this forum. I pray a few may have had seeds planted in their hearts, either for salvation, or moving out of wrong Biblical doctrines.

I've even left a few times, because I needed an attitude adjustment in the way I was fighting! Instead, I learned to use the Word, not my ego to discuss things. I've prayed about leaving permanently, but I am glad God has always brought me back, and I have some good friendships and ties with people in various parts of the world, because of this forum. And, if you don't like the BDF, there are so many other forums.

there's a sculpture professor named Sam Van Aken at Syracuse who, by grafting, has been growing trees that produce 40 types of stonefruit - plums, peaches, apricots, almonds, cherries etc.

i know he's successfully planted over a dozen of these "
trees of 40 fruits" - but i'm not sure how mature those trees are at this point or whether the picture i found is real or photoshopped.

really cool spiritual analogy, right? the wild olive branches, grafted in? the tree of life that produces a dozen kinds of fruit in Revelation 22? the trees of all kinds on the banks of the river of life in Ezekiel 47?

us! the body of Christ!

so ((on topic)) this is something i've grown to understand by being here among all the different, sometimes apparently conflicting, personalities drawn together by the gospel. i've began to appreciate how we all produce different kinds of "
fruit" and how that it's not possible to "litmus test" Christians by silly human measurements like "do they do this good work? or that one?"

Ah! I spot figs!

I've seen some trees selling that have up to three fruits on it. Didn't know it got that busy though.

Cool!

Doubly cool, because I have no idea what the other fruit is, and yeah. That doesn't make them less-fruit simply because I can't name-that-fruit. Good analogy.

If i ran the site I'd probably turn it off every seventh week, and invite people to spend time in prayer and contemplation.
I haven't been on this site in a very long time.

But I see the same people making the same argument, the same ways, and the same attitudes towards others.

What will you say to the Lord about these 3 years?

What Fruit has this brought you?

A man convinced of his will is of the same opinion still

I too have learned a lot while on CC. I have learned that there are great people all over the world that the Lord has raised up to speak on various subjects and we can all learn from them as we all see through a glass darkly and we know in part only.

Paul says that those who think they know something - don't know it as they ought to know it.

We have this treasure in an earthen vessel and we are completely dependent on the Holy Spirit to reveal Christ to us in the scriptures just the same way Mary was dependent on the Holy Spirit to conceive Jesus in her womb.

I have learned how to deal with those that continually deceitfully accuse others of things and mis-represent what people are saying because of malice and bitterness such as this hyper-grace being a heresy garbage and lies that people sometimes quote.

As, far as actually discussing scriptures and subjects - that is very hard to do in this venue because of the foul behavior of some of those that have a different opinion.

They come in a thread and personally slander others in the body of Christ and mis-represent what is being said and think nothing of it because they have a different view on a subject than they do. They have a continued outbursts of anger and the bitterness in them is defiling to us so it's important to "guard your heart".

Unfortunately a Hebrews 12:15 situation has occurred and it is best to avoid them for everyone's sake.

People can agree to dis-agree but at the very least have the decent Christian respect of accurately saying what they are saying. This is called being deceitful when people mis-represent what is being said.

To interact with these types of behavior is useless and just perpetuates the strife and division that is being brought into a discussion.

I have learned to preach and teach the scriptures and leave the outcome to the Holy Spirit. He will be faithful to us all....:)..

We all need each other n the body of Christ and we need to be remindful of what Paul said.

Galatians 5:15-16 (NASB)
[SUP]15 [/SUP] But if you bite and devour one another, take care that you are not consumed by one another.

[SUP]16 [/SUP] But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh.

Some might call it arguing, others might call it debating
but I look at it more like tilling, which I will carry on as long as the good LORD is willing...

Well, this week has been about Matthew 5:48, sometimes you just got to wonder if anyone is listening....
