A lot has to happen between now and armageddon... a WHOLE lot. War does not an armageddon make.

Honestly it will happen but not quite yet, but I have things I must do when it happens. So when it happens for me it will not be a matter of if I am ready but rather a matter of what I may finally do

This is about to happen, but it is just the beginning of what you describe.

Psalm 83:1-8 (KJV)
[SUP]1 [/SUP]Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.
[SUP]2 [/SUP]For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:
[SUP]6 [/SUP]The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;
[SUP]7 [/SUP]Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;
[SUP]8 [/SUP]Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah.

Fascinating to watch these events unfold!

According to Encyclopedia Brittanica:
Edom, ancient land bordering ancient Israel, in what is now southwestern Jordan, between the Dead Sea and the Gulf of Aqaba
Ishmaelite in the Old Testament, member of a group of nomadic tribes related to the Israelites and most likely living east of the Gulf of Aqaba in the northwestern regions.
Moab, Ammon, Located east of the Dead Sea in what is now Jordan.
Hagarites/Hagarenes, a people dwelling to the east of Israel, with whom the tribes of Reuben made war in the time of Saul.
Gebal, ancient seaport, the site of which is located on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea, about 20 miles north of the modern city of Beirut, Lebanon.
Amalek, tribe dwelling originally in the region south of Judah
Assur (Ashur), capital of Assyria, located on the west bank of the Tigris River in northern Iraq
Tyre, now located in Lebanon, with Tyre 20 mi south of Sidon and only 12 mi north of the Israel-Lebanon border.

Money is the least of my desires, when this happens it is going to be my dream to serve and protect everyone. I want to keep my Promises to God and become a loving humble servant to to all people at that time, even the ones who cannot be saved because of the mark. The world is going to need hope the world is going to have to know god's heart more than ever when this happens. Of course first I wish I do wish to be raptured and finally hold Jesus in my arms then I am going to ask him to finally give me what I pray for and when he does then I will ask of him to send me back on earth.

A life living for ourselves is not a life worth living, this is the message Jesus showed when took on the role of a humble servant

I may not be able to Protect them with the mark, But I will Love them and care for them all the same. Do you think Jesus wants to see everyone go through this pain and torture? When this happens he is going to be deeply saddened and he will cry, Jesus would have stilled deeply loved those with the mark regardless if they could be saved so therefore so shall I

yes  >>>> isaiah 63 3 I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.4 For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.
5 And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.
6 And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth.

dont seem to me like he worried about people ( with the mark of the beast ) going through torture and pain :D:D

I'm sorry but you do not understand, God's wrath and anger may be just but he is not a God of anger and wrath. I have seen that heart of his, I have seen those eyes of deep love and care. Trust me when I say you do not understand.

If you read Rev 16 you find Armageddon doesn't appear until the 6th bowl of God's Wrath is poured out. We are not here to see God's wrath, ergo, we are not here for armageddon. So between now and then, there must come:

The tribulation judgments of the seals and trumpets, the return of Christ and the catching up of His saints, then the pouring out of 6 of the 7 bowls of wrath upon the wicked who are left.

Somehow I don't see the U.S. involvement in Syria fulfilling any of that. A stepping stone towards it, yes, but not directly involved.

Christians are saved by grace through faith inJesus
John 14:6
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

These people according to 1[SUP]st[/SUP]Corinthians will be saved.

1st Corinthians 3
[SUP]10[/SUP]By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundationas a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one shouldbuild with care. [SUP]11[/SUP]For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which isJesus Christ. [SUP]12[/SUP]Ifanyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hayor straw, [SUP]13[/SUP] theirwork will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. Itwill be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’swork. [SUP]14[/SUP] If what hasbeen built survives, the builder will receive a reward. [SUP]15[/SUP] If it is burned up, thebuilder will suffer loss but yet will be saved—even though only as one escapingthrough the flames.

Christians have no worries about events that will devestate the world.

He has prepared a place in heaven for us.

the thousand years is past.
If that is so, when did this happen?

Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

For that matter when was Satan bound?

Rev 20:1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
Rev 20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
Rev 20:3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

And I would have thought that something as dramatic as this would have made the history books...

Rev 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
Rev 20:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
Rev 20:9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

The Millenium is yet future.

Just a tidbit here...

Armageddon is from the Hebrew Har Megiddo, it is this...

H2022
הר
har
har
A shortened form of H2042; a mountain or range of hills (sometimes used figuratively): - hill (country), mount (-ain), X promotion.

and

H4023
מגדּו מגדּון
megiddôn megiddô
meg-id-done', meg-id-do'
From H1413; rendezvous; Megiddon or Megiddo, a place in Palestine: - Megiddo, Megiddon.

This last term is quite interesting, Har Megiddo, is a place in Israel today and it is also a rendezvous. It is not the location of the battle, it is a staging area. The location of the battle is the valley of Jezreel.

Rev 16:14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
Rev 16:16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

Notice the name is not the Battle of Armageddon, this is a misnomer, the name of this is "the battle of that great day of God Almighty".

Rev 14:19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
Rev 14:20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

Joe 3:13 Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.
Joe 3:14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.

The battle occurs in the Valley of Jezreel, also known as the Valley of Decision.
