[h=3]Matthew 5:43-48[/h]New International Version (NIV)

[h=3]Love for Enemies[/h]43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor[a] and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47 And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

As much as Jesus loved the scribes and pharisees who railed against Him...He didn't fawn, goosh and emote over them but rebuked them for their errors.

I agree, we should pray for them. Jesus on the cross prayed for others while dying. Now that is love

I once had a dream,the Lord showed people who committed crime against others.Then He asked me if I could forgive them and love them.I struggled,the Lord showed me :Jeremiah 31:3 The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.Man was created in Gods image,for this reason no matter what kind/how much sins man commits He will always love him and will always forgive if man repents.This I understood but I asked the Lord a question, "what about the victims?" He never answered.Through my self examine of my belief and knowing Gods principles & standard,I asked the Lord to help me grow more in love with Him,with His Word so I could love as He loves mankind:1 John 2:5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
