GREAT topic, Enow! Too many people--myself included--are sometimes prideful in our understanding and certainty of God's ways. But in fact, we cannot begin to comprehend God. We're just baby lambs stumbling along behind our Shepherd.

Discretion is the better part of valor, and so trusting Jesus Christ as your Good Shepherd to lead you in feeding His sheep & when not to is all any one can only do by the grace of God in walking with Him.

Sometimes, myself included, use this BDF forum, to post "testimonials", of "how/what/when, and the why" of Our Fathers' Loving Kindness, towards us, and the metamorphic "changes" in spiritual growth and maturity that occur in our lives, as the result in "our" attempts to put into modern, language (interpretation) our answering Nicodemus' question to Our High priest and Kinsmen Redeemer Jesus Christ of Nazareth, when Jesus told Nicodemus, that "unless a man be born again, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God!"....That question being? "What you talkin' bout, Willis?" :cool:

And, like so many other "authors/bloggers/yada, yada, yada" I am striving, not to convey what the HS is saying to these people, as I know younger believers are want to peruse towards their own "understanding/s" of what is going on with this "Jesus stuff". Tis more, like what all this "Jesus stuff" is saying to me! And enduring, the mockers and scoffers and workers of inequity, whilst they "parse" out (sometimes) every syllable, of another persons' post. And, most times, are pretty successful in "spinning" off on another "tangent", that which was the purpose of the OP (Original Post). It's like playing the game "telephone", with a large group of people. Another reason for this, is due to this thing called "internet", where, most of us don't "know" much about anyone else on these boards. Nor, how much time one has to spend on it. Not even mentioning that this "being connected" can be quite addicting, which, is not "illegal", in the eyes of men, but, in the eyes of God, can be just as harmful, and just as much of a "vice" as any other well known vices out there, as is that same "spirit" of addiction, just using another "means to its ends"!!

So, in my own "seeking's" and "proofings out", "certain tenets" of modern "churchianity".for example:..."Love covers a "multitude" of sin/s"...This "statement", is pretty ambiguous, yet, there are many many people that shall cling upon, not to mention, some that do prey upon, this particular ambiguity, and delve deep back into into it when personally confronted, or asked for pertinent explantion/s as to their premise. Me? Myself?....I don't know which sin, or sins love does cover, just as much as I don't know which sin, or sins love doesn't cover either!

Another reason, is the constant "turnaround" in this thing called internet, where people are always coming and going. And?...In (at least my) striviances in a showing and telling of this "body of Christ", to the comers and goers, as well as, people who "reside" in here, offering explanations that refute the claims made by believers that even Paul.....Way back when, warned believers not to do! Which is a body of believers that are, for example, hands, or arms, or feets, showing the "Love" (oops....there's that word again) of Christ, saying to other "members" of this (sometimes allegeded) "body of Christ", that "they", are of a "contentious" sort, because they do not believe as we do, and therefore are not needed, and should be dismissed as such!

Another reason, for this, is, that "some" of these people, myself included, are "hard-wired" for aggressive spiritual warfare! Yet, we are percieved by some, as "thee" enemy, "I"/others, are not! Yet?...We are instructed by Jesus to LOVE (funny how this word keeps popping up, eh?) our enemies!...YET!...We FIGHT a spiritual WAR!......Just where's the break off point betweenst love and war here?

Oh how I wished I could "correctly" categorize myself, thusly placing myself in the correct pigeon hole, inasmuch as, the dispersing and dispensing of Biblical/Spiritual knowledge and maturity, whereas, a seeker "seeking", might be referred to me, from someone: "Oh!...Well?...this guy knows more about this stuff, then I do...go see him"!....Who am I kidding?...."Are ya reelin' in the years...or jez, stowin' away the time?"....."The things that pass for knowledge....I can't understand!"

I myself can never figure out by His words if He wants me here at this forum or not as there is a commandment to withdraw and not have fellowship with works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

All I can do and you can do is trust the Lord as your Good Shepherd to lead you in the way you ought to go. We are not under the letter, and when things get too confusing for any of us as to what to do, trust your ways unto the Lord, and just rest in Him that He is in you and is with you always as your Friend to help you live as His friend by the grace of God and His help. Trust Him to lead you to do His will as you are trusting Him to do it, because that is His job. That is His glory & why you will give Him thanks for that too and not just for your salvation.

Loving people here is no different than Loving people any where...
Jesus will always be with us to help us to discern where people's hearts
are coming from...one thing is certain, the more we love/walk, the less we will be loved...
