Ok. I'll play along, I am used to word games.

Having the spirit of God is not equal to being the spirit of God
Also, scripture seems to suggest that the (holy) spirit does not remain constantly in us, but rather comes and goes as needed.
(Especially clear in the OT)

You have the UK flag. If you are a UK citizen, does that make you king?
You have a US flag. If you are a US citizen, does that make you president?

"Troll, troll ,troll your boat gently down the stream
Merrily, merrily, merrily
Life is but a dream."
Why do you say this seeing this is not the Spirit of Christ?

I often wonder why people say evil things seeing it is not of God
when they profess to be of God? And ask God everyday to help them.

Why do you think you are entitled to an answer from me for your question?

The indwelling spirit NEVER leaves his child. We can quench the spirit but scripture never says that a new covenant believer is w/o the spirit ever!
Now, the "wind" does pass over where it may but that is a manifestation of a mighty moving of the spirit.

Hi ho
Hi ho

Off to hell they go.

They would not repent

their own way they went.

Making fun of those

who God told them to love.

Be wise as serpents

and harmless as doves.

Hi ho

off to hell they go.

Well, I don't know Hebrew or Greek, but I know the English bible keeps saying "the spirit came upon (him / them ....) ...."
How can it come upon someone if it's already there? :)

OP: You are in a public forum. If you don't like me asking questions, you may put me on ignore :)

I post blasphemous phrases
and tell others to go to the blazes

I enjoy wasting time
to see people respond to my craziness is sublime

I like to make jest
by causing unrest

I pour judgements like bowls
my name is the troll.....

And this from "unsure."

From a dude who isn't even sure what he believes, you sure have a lot of beliefs.

Who are you trying to convince? And what are you trying to convince of? How long you can get people to do this? I have a house that needs cleaning, if you're that bored.

(This is not arguing or trying to convince you of anything. This is just me answering your question as I try to understand God.)

God is God -- Maker of time and space. What is "before," "after," or "now" to him?

I do not believe in the pantheistic god, but I do believe God is everywhere at once always, minus the once, because once indicates time.

hehe- well said
but then why wasn't the spirit of God on the disciples from the start?
Not arguing me either, I just never got my head around the whole holy spirit bit

I consider trolls as individuals. Sure, they're all out to stir the pot and cause havoc, but if they hurt no one and we don't give them buttons to push, but make our own decisions on how we'll act. On this site? What's the harm? (Not like anyone could possibly believe this pile of lies he comes up with.) And, who knows, maybe God will do what God does since "So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of God."
