HAHAHA awesome......I one time just to make a point asked about 75 people to turn to Hezekiah chapter whatever and when about 40 of them started thumbing pages, going to the index etc. made a good point about them knowing what the TV guide has to say is on Friday Night, but not knowing their bible good enough to know that there is no book of Hezekiah.....
The song I posted was better than the Hezekiah passage. :p

Faithful Father, we ask for a miraculous touch on Phil's life. You said "that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven." There are more than two here, Jesus praying for Phil that he be healed and spiritually lifted up in Your grace and joy and peace. We care for our brother and want him to enjoy the life You have given him. We glorify Your name Lord Jesus and thank You that You are the answer to all our prayers. We pray that by Your grace Phil would have the desires of his heart: good health, peace of mind and abundant joy. Thank You, Savior and Friend Jesus.

AAAHHHH.... Thanks so much. I'm going to make it. God didn't bring me this far to fail.
Just a thought..you know, if suicide wasn't a sin there wouldn't be any christians on this orb? :)
I appreciate you folks. Even those I am hard on. I see things in black and white and there are boundaries. Way I am.
Thanks again.
Paul said:

"For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you." (Philippians 1:23-24)

Life's not all about us, Phil, but all about God and His desires and He desires that none should perish and it's the duty of Christians, Christ's body here on earth, to "occupy until He comes". If suicide was acceptable for Christians, then I doubt that anybody who killed themselves to be with Christ was actually a Christian to begin with. Christ lived for others and we're all called to do the same.

When I lived in another part of Pennsylvania some years ago, I used to regularly drive past a hand made sign which somebody had posted on their property near the street. The sign read:

J esus
O thers
Y ou

Oftentimes our lack of joy is an indicator that our sights are set in the wrong place. IOW, oftentimes it's an indicator that our focus is too much upon ourselves as opposed to being upon Jesus and others. When our priorities are in order, then God will meet our own needs.

Some might find what I've written to be harsh or uncaring, but it isn't. I've been where you're at oftentimes and I just momentarily asked God to kill me about a half an hour ago. My own life has been trial after trial after trial after trial. Aside from momentary bouts of selfishness like the one that I just went through about a half an hour ago, I'm normally content to live for others and God's grace has always been sufficient.

I'll be praying for you, Phil.

May God touch you with a fingertip of healing so that His peace envelops your soul, His joy rules your heart, and His Light guides your way to safe keeping. May He meet you where you need Him most; may He bless you and everyone in your heart on this day and always. In Jesus Christ's great and glorious name, Amen.

I'm used to it because I don't want to see grey either.
Yeah that's cool bro,.......little different for me at this stage in life, i like a little gray in my beard, mustache and whiskers at almost 42 years young....... but maybe when i'm pushing 70 it might seem more appealing to have a younger look :p

Suffering is a ministry. Not many seek out a suffering ministry but God is glorified in our suffering for His sake. When we are the weakest He is the strongest. Kick the devil in the teeth and praise God you are able to suffer for His sake. Jesus is never closer than when we are the neediest.

No,we suffer not at the hand of the father. This is confused and wrong.
If suffering comes directly from God,then any prayer to change it would be blasphemy against God's purpose.

The suffering is FROM men,the devil, and our own messes.
But the only ones that bring heaven any glory are the ones from men and the devil.

Any depression or opresession are from hell.

I am struggling and there is no such thing as having too many people praying for you. I appreciate all who would take a minute to bend God's ear. I so much want to be in a better place sometimes.
There is no better place than a clear conscience, I don't think. I'm always struggling to resist temptation, and when I succeed, I usually feel pretty good.

Seeing how there is no grey area with God there shouldn't be any grey in us either. I totally understand this as it is either all or nothing there is no "kinda". If we cannot be willing to speak only truth then should we really speak at all.

Hi Phil, Romans 8:
37Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I have and will be praying for you, He knows what help you need. In all the uncertainty in life there is One we can count on. We may not always understand, He always has, does, and will.

Have you ever got a song stuck in your head? You know, a tune that keeps playing over and over in your mind? You may not even like the song, it may be annoying, but there it is..over and over. Well, I have decided that thoughts and feelings can be that same way. I used to think I couldn't help it if a negative thought popped into my head, or I dwelt on any given thing..but I was wrong. We are told to "take each thought captive". Now I know I can change my thoughts and feelings, and I can change the tune, play a new song...even when I am in pain. Take each thought captive. It's not up to us to decide we've no more purpose according to the Master's plan. He may have a few more foot races in store for you, who knows maybe even marathons.:)

God bless you~k
