This is pretty cool, lively stones

John 1:42
And he (Andrew) brought him (Simon) to Jesus.
And when Jesus beheld him, he said,
Thou art Simon the son of Jona:
thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone.

Likewise Peter shows the same of them (as coming to Christ)

1Peter 2:4
To whom coming,
as
unto a living stone,
disallowed indeed of men,
but chosen of God, and precious,

And again, "Ye also"as lively stones

1Peter 2:5
Ye also, as lively stones are built up a spiritual house,
an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God
by Jesus Christ.

Last part of the above ends with "acceptable to God by Jesus Christ"

You could go this way too I guess

Mat 16:18
And I say also unto thee,
That thou art Peter Petros [SUP]4074[/SUP],
and upon this rock ( petra )[SUP]4073[/SUP] I will build my church;
and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

1Cr 10:4
....they drank of
that spiritual Rock ( petra) [SUP]4073[/SUP] that followed them:
and that Rock (petra) [SUP]4073[/SUP] was Christ

The text and in the definition

John 1:42
Cephas Kēphas 2786, which is by interpretation,
A stone petros 4074.

Mat 16:18
And I say also unto thee,
That thou art
Peter Petros 4074
and
upon
this rock petra 4073 I will build my church;
and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Im Petered out
haha petered out lol. good stuff here...no great stuff ! sorry I hadn't read this until now thanx again for sharing

[SUP]8 [/SUP]I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.

[SUP]9 [/SUP]Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.

And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

[SUP]12 [/SUP]Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

"And He shall take of what is mine and make it known to you"

Love this GREAT addition and thank you and bless you dear brother in all things Jesus

Let God's word be true. Just the verse.

Revelation 4:1 KJV After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.

Lets not add things that aren't there. Just Gods word as the thread originator asked.

Here is short one, attempting to weave Isaiah into the picture in Acts theres a few I set aside I still need to fit it

These two...

Isaiah 30:20 And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner: any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers

Acts 16:14 And a certain woman
named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul.

Now this way

Isaiah 30:20 And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers

Isaiah 30:21 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

1Thes 1:6 And ye became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost:

This is off of bikerchazes last post (sorta)

These are fun, I want to post a a few because they are so fun, this actually is exactly the kind of threads I am looking for, the challenge show showing using scripture to the best of your ability, this is an excellent practice, how much can you show it unsisted by anything of you in there? There is just nother better then silent flesh and pure word and a workman in the word, it might be an aquired taste lots of folks dont like it, I wish only for more people in my life who did so.

Great thread Bro Jasonj this was a wonderful idea it truly was, if i can stay on your thread only I would be thrilled, love you bro, thanks for this!

God bless (sorry I couldnt help some words) I too need to get used to it, but I really love it and need to say LOL

Peace !

Amen for sure ! the op doesn't limit all our words, just was worded like it was to attempt to stop the preaching at others, and offer scriptures without making it mean what our "doctrines" teach. and just let the planted word reach whomever will receive and whomever God wills. I believe FULLY in gods word, as many do. The power within His word is unequivocal for salvation and eternal Life. the power to change us, heal us, and make us right in His eyes, not only in our thoughts that we are righteous, but the purpose of the righteousness that reaches out to other people. the hurting, the lost, the tossed aside and forgotten by the world ect.....when God plants, fruit happens and when God grows fruit in us, the ones around us in the world reap the benefits and are then receiving word that saves and heals them, and so on and so on......

Mark 4:26-29 "He also said, “This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground. Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. All by itself the soil produces grain—first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head. As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come.”

I appreciate you also, and really would encourage you to consider possibly writing in notebooks and things beginning with prayer, using the patterns of connection, without ever omitting anything that is there ( as you already do) a lot of folks stick on only what seems right to them, rather than what is Right according to HIM.

Thank you and as always great addition and worth, you actually inspired thuis thread. I noticed how usually its scripture from you, with little opinion and shading that is prevelant. God bless you in alllll things Jesus Our Lord and blessed Hop and everything else we need

2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 KJV 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Isaiah 2:11-12 KJV The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day. 12 For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:

Zephaniah 1:14-16 KJV The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly. 15 That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, 16 A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers.

Heres a sort of pattern, shows Jesus Christ in Isaac

Gal 3:8 And the scripture, foreseeing
that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.

Heb 11:13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims
;) on the earth.

Heb 11:17 By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,

Heb 11:18 Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called:

Heb 11:19 Accounting that God was able to raise *him* up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in *a figure*

Acts 10:40 *Him* God raised up the third day, and shewed him *openly*

Jesus Christ in Isaac shown in a figure but him (being Jesus Christ) is him God raised up and "shewed openly"

Gen 22:4 Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place *afar off*.

Gen 22:6 And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together.

Gen 2:22 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.

Isaac asked his father Abraham saying,

Gen 22:7 ...Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?

Gen 22:8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.

All the law and prophets prophesied until John, of whom God said,

Mal 3:1 Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.

John 1:36 And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!

Col 1:15
Who is the image
of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

Heb 10:1 The law having shadow of the good things to come not the very image of things

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Rom 8:2
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

The cross of Christ

Gen 22:6 And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son;

Gal 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

Gal 3:14
That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Abraham's seed (singularly so) Christ as of one, not many.

good stuff there. ive found that the old is a mirror or "pattern of the old throughout scripture. the first flesh , the second spirit. all pointing to the merge of the two. the 3rd aspect, the completion. Great stuff bro. I appreciate the scripture and hope some folks take note of the connections being revealed by the Lord through some of you !! all of Coarse for the glory of God through Jesus Christ !! and for the edification of those who believe

Amen ! I hope others may see and take note of the connections between the 2 seemingly separate covenants, as relating to the state of man in the Garden before the fall. and the beginning of our eternal covenant as promised through Abrahams faith !

God bless and may He continue to fill us with His word, by His spirit in the name of His Son Jesus ! very good stuff !!!!

Thank you and as always great addition and worth, you actually inspired thuis thread. I noticed how usually its scripture from you, with little opinion and shading that is prevelant. God bless you in alllll things Jesus Our Lord and blessed Hop and everything else we need

God bless you bro, yes I know exactly what you mean, I prefer them the same, to "reason out of the scriptures" in that way according to how they speak (thats comfortable to me). I dont want to figure out what somone else is saying I want to hear how the LORD speaks (I would prefer His words to theirs) I dont think He minds that I do either.

Your such a sweet spirit a real kind soul, His peace to you Bro. And I could actually learn more from you, I am not so comfortable being open up in public forum (well, I have learned not to that) and that is where I am comfortable (in not doing so), but I can still appreciate someone who does so as easily as you do.

I just ommit when I am not certain and you have to do that on forums otherwise (even though you might let it fly in your own notes and wait on it) putting it out there if you cant defend it just makes things more difficult for you, so if I cant defend it sits off to the side, which is about 80%, of them sitting off to the side over 1-2 verses in a difficult place. So I just set them aside and add to them here and there as I return to them (and then setting them aside again). But when you have so many of unfinished ones you are always combing through them, and then having his things come to you wherever but often as you think on them, He is so beautiful, its just so precious a time with him and in his words and just how He ministers to you in things, you get the feeling when you are catching Him correctly or not, that iffy place I hate lol Its nice, no rush or pressure, when it comes it comes and He always comes through. He is truly aweome I know you know this. Well, Im going on day 3 not having slept a wink the last two nights and its approaching 2:45 AM where I am, so I best hit the sack and try to go to sleep lol

Our God and Father richly bless you in Christ Jesus the Lord

Peace, good night Bro

good stuff there. ive found that the old is a mirror or "pattern of the old throughout scripture. the first flesh , the second spirit. all pointing to the merge of the two. the 3rd aspect, the completion. Great stuff bro. I appreciate the scripture and hope some folks take note of the connections being revealed by the Lord through some of you !! all of Coarse for the glory of God through Jesus Christ !! and for the edification of those who believe
Amen! Thanks be to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 2:7 KJV But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

1 Corinthians 3:19 KJV For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.

James 1:5 KJV If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

1 Corinthians 1:20 KJV Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

amen, I think we all wait for the spirits revelation in us as you are describing, trouble when we try to "force" things to make sense.

God bless and you are loved and appreciated. In the Lords truth ! rest well in His Love and tender care until next time....
