How did kangaroos, emus and platypuses get to Australia after Noah landed his boat?

The story is true as stated in the Bible, NOT as taught in Sunday school. Nowhere does the Bible say ONLY eight people were saved. Look it up and check carefully. There were parts of the rest of the world that got saved, too.

Spaceships.

Probably something to do with the icecaps, and or shifting of the earths surface.

Oh I'm sorry. My numbers must be off because I was resorting to scripture. Can you please clarify for me?

Genesis 6:19-20
You are to bring into the ark two of all living creatures, male and female, to keep them alive with you. Two of every kind of bird, of every kind of animal and of every kind of creature that moves along the ground will come to you to be kept alive.

Genesis 7:2-3
Take with you seven of every kind of clean animal, a male and its mate, and two of every kind of unclean animal, a male and its mate, and also seven of every kind of bird, male and female, to keep their various kinds alive throughout the earth.

The world looked very different before the flood. It's very likely that the separation of the continents is a result of the massive flood waters not having anywhere to go. As such, the continents may have been one land mass or several large land masses. Travel would've been easy - no oceans to cross.

Both, Read:

Is there supposed to be a contradiction?

Ok now you're grasping at straws. Obviously you can't have two of all living creatures and seven of every kind of animal clean or not. Surprised you didn't go with the old "mistranslated" tactic.

Anyway it's already been beaten to death and yes it is a clear contradiction.

"If Noah knew the Mosaic law and passed it on to his children, there would be no point in God revealing it to Moses and Aaron later in Leviticus. In order to get away from this, you need to maintain that Noah was revealed at least parts of the Mosaic law, which were then lost at some point after the Flood.
Of course, there's also the much more plausible explanation that the story was invented by a Jewish writer who was so accustomed to thinking about animals as clean or unclean that he did not spot this chronological inconsistency."

Ok and why do we have both saltwater and freshwater fish?

O rly? Why can't I? Is seven divisible by two? I think you can get a few two's out of a seven. It's called supplementation.

He is told to get two of every kind, and that specifically of the clean there should be seven. It would only be a contradiction if it said, "only two of every kind." It is you who grasps at straws, and unoriginally gets your thinking from other sources. Try being more independent.

Justify it.

God gave instructions on animal sacrifice before Noah.

[SUP]Genesis 4:4
4
[/SUP]Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat. And the Lord respected Abel and his offering,

It wasn't recorded in full detail in Genesis, which is fine. Genesis wasn't written at that time either.

There were still rivers and creeks and lakes before the flood.
Uhhhh, there was a worldwide flood meaning the saltwater mixed with freshwater. How did the fish survive?

God does not mention supplementation. You added that. I guess the bible can be interpreted any way you choose
if you just ignore what it actually says.

I'm not a believer either, the sheer vastness of the undertaking and the various factors involved make it impossible in my eyes.

I think its simply a case of no explanation is possible to a non believer and no explanation is necessary to a believer.

That holds true to anything in the bible

Do you know what supplementation is?

The word "Trinity" isn't in scripture, but the doctrines that label falls under are. You may not be able to find the word "supplementation" in Genesis, but what the word means, is found.
