First of all, I would take internet :D

So far, its KJV:Other Bibles - 8:12

Which is quite a good result for the KJV, IMHO.

KJV It isn't perfect but much better than what Westcott and Hort did.
KJV It isn't perfect but much better than w̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶W̶e̶s̶t̶c̶o̶t̶t̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶H̶o̶r̶t̶ ̶d̶i̶d̶.

The KJV isn't perfect but much better than what The Holt Spirit lead people to do to get his message into the hands of a wider range of people.

There I fixed that sentence for you so it reflects the truth rather than a heretical belief system.

Also, KJV is not in the same group as Westcot-Hort. Its apples and oranges.

It should be: Erasmus vs Westcott-Hort or KJV vs RSV.

Todays Bibles are based neither on Erasmus nor on Westcott-Hort. Nestlé Aland or UBS are used for translations by almost all churches in the world.

I grew up with the KJV, so all the old things I had memorized wouldn't be the same. So I use that mostly, but I reference many others. I would want some company on that island; like a puppy.

Look, puppies are a lot of work. You need to study. How about an older dog that is already trained up? This one has it's own set of highlighter pens and is ready to help.

The orthodox church is different. They use Septuagint for the OT and patriarchal edition based on some few byzantine manuscripts (best representatives of the majority text, as they say).

I'd be happy with any good MV other than MSG, NLT.

NASB. I like KJV, NRSV and others but I will probably take NASB.
