The premise to your question was based on an angelic visitation. You got the response that was merited. Now, if you would have asked "should we change parts of the bible" or "is it okay to rewrite parts of the bible", and been sincerely asking the question, then I doubt you would have been met with as much hostility and mockery. After relating your angelic visitation, you went on to say certain parts of the bible should be changed based on interpretation issues and noted which parts you would change. Your question was not sincere, but as you plainly stated here, was to stir the pot. You got exactly the response you asked for. I highly doubt you were looking for civil discussion but only wanting to cause a point of contention for whatever reason. The question was not presented as hypothetical but you made a statement of fact that you assumed others should jump on board with. "I don't like this part of the bible so it should be changed to such and such...", "So what part don't you like and would like to change?" Doesn't sound very hypothetical to me, but definite.
