If God were to take you before his throne right now how would you react? Although I do not mean him taking you because your time is up more like just taking you for a bit and then sending you back. Would your knees become weak before the awesomeness and power of him and his throne? Would you kneel before him out of respect and honor? would break down and bawl because you are so happy to be able to see him?

To be honest I have always wanted to go before him and his throne and I have always had the same daydream about how I would love for it go. I can imagine I am suddenly before him and my heart races and I run to him with tears of love as he has his arms open and I can just see him smiling and laughing. I then hop in his lap while he is on his throne ad if I am so welcomed by him that I may actually sit upon him and his throne, as If I belonged there. And he and I would hug each other laugh and talk and then before I get sent back I fall asleep in him arms.
I thought about this and then I realized something, that is my home. my home is not heaven itself but rather in his lap on his almighty throne and in his arms.

So then, how would you respond to going before his throne?

That's....strange....I have the same daydream....I've also imagined myself on my hands and knees bowing before him. I do sometimes imagine myself in his lap but I always bring myself back to worship because I'm afraid. Mainly of crying. I'm not too good at that.

Surrounded by Your Glory, what will my heart feel?
Will I dance for you Jesus, or in awe of you be still?
Will I stand in your presence, or to my knees will I fall
will I sing hallelujah, will I be able to speak at all?

I can only imagine...

That is scary Missachu, because I also have imagined myself on my hands and knees bowing before him as well. Whenever I think of this daydream I ask God which situation would be my first reaction? I also sometimes imagine myself kneeling before him in honor and respect awaiting his command. I wonder if god is trying to say something here? Is it merely great minds thinking alike or.....

Hmmm, you might find it to be a dogpile on His lap.

Mark 12:4Then he sent another servant to them; they struck this man on the head and treated him shamefully.

Luke 23:30
Then “‘they will say to the mountains, “Fall on us!” and to the hills, “Cover us!”’

Romans 4:7
“Blessed are those whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.

Romans 5:5
And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

Romans 9:33
As it is written: “See, I lay in Zion a stone that causes people to stumble and a rock that makes them fall, and the one who believes in him will never be put to shame.”
