Christian Colleges have not cornered the market in distorting God's Word. Almost every person I've talked to that took classes on the Bible as an extra, walked away confused about the Bible. The most blatantly obvious, the young man told me his professor began like this, "Now for any of you who know me, I am a preacher at so and so church just up the way. Pay no attention to that, because I can't tell my flock the truth I'm gonna tell you all here in this class, so.."

It's a breakdown in society, in schools at every level, and in the churches. It's called the world. It's why Jesus said come out of her people!!!!! before it's too late.

That's a mighty big claim to make without any evidence.

Things were better when everyone used the King James Bible--before modern translations existed.

Woa, lady. Be nice to Tintin. He's quite pragmatic and is uneasily swayed by emotional statements [from what I have observed]. Just give him facts, and I'm sure he would be eager to engage in dialogue.

Why don't you watch YouTube videos?
it would wake up the kiddies and I don't like watching videos. I'd rather read a synapses of what the poster got out of the message because what they got might not be the same thing I hear after listening to the video.

In asking for a summary, I was hoping to engage in a conversation.

plus sometimes people post 30 min. to an hour video and I don't have time to watch it. However since this one is only 9 minutes i guess I'll watch it since the kids are in bed:

I noticed that her sweatshirt says "I love guns". She says "um" alot.

says she achieved the "Christian character award" from K-12

Youth ministry major. saw God as scary authority figure, poor leaders, fear, not cleaning the toilet just right? Not get in bed on time?

antiwomen classes? began to question "did God love me?"

"reach the boys first, and train them to be leaders and the girls will follow"

"the value of women's souls was worthless and could go to hell"

"breakfast for all the senior fathers, waiting for the mother's salvation outreach" ..............

wow this video is really sad..........at minute 6:49................

she has been listening to the wrong voices for 20 years........

brainwashing of legalism....

trying to overcome and reinforce that "God does love me"

.......

Summary of her message is: "God loves you, and you're not worthless."

It made me really sad to think that there are a lot of people out there who would try to steal that assurance away from people through the lies of legalism. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for providing that! I intended to get back it all in a nutshell, but I haven't had a chance to devote that much time to it yet.

Thanks for responding. No, that's fair enough. Especially when some people here post videos of up to (and sometimes exceeding) two hours for a simple question or it ends up being false teachings. Naturally, this isn't the case here. :)

Jesus didn't ask us to come out of the world but for God to protect us while we remain in the world to be His ambassadors of light and love, to speak words of Life and to share with others what God has taught us of Jesus and His salvation.

He did not condemn the Church but called her His beloved Bride for whom He died for.

God doesn't want us to give up and try to escape the world but engage the world as He did: with love and compassion. He told us to weep with those who weep and rejoice with those who rejoice, praising God not only with our words but our thoughts and actions. not only one day a week but with every breath we breath we should continuously give God praise and thanks.

We know how to love others and forgive others and pray for them because God first loved us and forgave us.

Why is it intolerable for me to ask for evidence? People can claim anything and some people will believe it without evidence. I believe such a practice is exceedingly dangerous and disingenuous. I have no bone to pick with you, I just think it's reasonable to ask for evidence for that which you claim.

Women and men are equally precious to God. The claim the teacher maid about teaching men first is an extremely wrong comment. NOWHERE in the bible does it say to teach the men first. Women are beautiful creatures (please don't harp on the word creature) and deserve respect. The bible teaches some things that do seem to put women down (although it really doesn't it just gives them a different job), but it's the idiocy of the men back then, as well as now, that leads to the downfall of this teaching. The bible does not teach men are better than women in any way, and Misty if you have gotten that impression from me I wanna be clear THAT IS NOT HOW I FEEL. The downfall and the cause of the abuse in the churches because of the men much more than the women, if the women can be blamed at all. Me are called to love their wives, respect them, and look at their submission as a sign as respect and love back. Men are supposed to listen to their wives and take their opinions and thoughts into HIGH consideration. In the end yea it should be the man's choice because they do hold the leading role in the family, but the man should almost always, if not always, have the wife on his side on any move he really makes. Again Misty, as well as everyone on here, if you have gotten a different impression of me I am sorry. I agree with what the bible teaches, and I do blame men for the downfall of the teachings of Paul. I still think they should be help true, but that men need to pick up their slack, not the other way around.

...funny....

Anyone who has been detached from the brainwashing techniques of the illuminati knows the real jews come from the 12 palents which orbit a remote star called "Juzion" about 20000000049 light years away. Dont go looking for this though, as NASA etc have removed all records and evidence for it.
