I never said the first into the New Covenant where not Jews you have totally misread my post.. I asked you what where the Jews expecting? and they ignored Him when He came. Im not sure if you knwo what I mean't by that question. but you can easily see what I mean in the first couple of verses in Acts.
Part of God's plan was for the Messiah, to be the King, the blessing unto the nations (Abrahamic Covenant) that physical Israel failed to do, and thus lost all the benefits of the blessings of the Sinai Covenant.
Of course the early church where Jews. However, it quickly opened up to allow the true children of Abraham in ( Read Paul), for the true child of Abraham is not dependent now upon physical descent (I'm sure you will know this by reading the NT)? The wild olive braches have been grafted into Israel as sons of promise, true sons of Abraham through Christ.
The true son is now circumcised in the heart (Spiritual son/daughters of Abraham ...) not circumcision of the flesh.
You are implying that if the gentiles had not persecuted the 'church' then it would have remained Jewish. you are exactly the type of person Paul argued against in Galatians. (I have highlighted what you said above).
The Jews lost the land because of their failure to God, the Children now neither Jew nor Greek nor free nor slave, but one in Christ will inherit the promised land of the New Jerusalem. It is glorious as Paul says that the Jews will be made Jealous of the gentiles and come to Christ, it certainly is glorious... However they become one like us in Christ.. not some super Messianic Christian that.. some think.
Again, there is neither Jew nor Greek nor slave nor free but all are one in Christ (that's God's words not mine) the Siniatic covenant is gone, finished. However, the Abrahamic covenant still stands..!
we are all in the New Covenant of Christ and the blessings will stand from what God promised to Abraham. Christ has gained that for us God's children, no matter what ethnicity we are!
God dwell's (tabernacles)with His children now in are hearts in in tent or stone building nor will He. God has a place for us to Dwell with Him for eternity, He will tabernacle (Dwell) with His people once again as in Garden at Eden. The New Heavens and The New Jerusalem and Spiritual Israel (the saved).
so before you all start to ask about how special the Jews are.. ask yourself (biblically) who are the true children of Abraham?
we all praise when anyone of any ethnicity becomes a child of God through Christ Jesus, and more so the Jew. But, they are not a special type of Christian! we are all one in Christ.
