Did you check what this site is out of posthuman? Armstrongism. Herbert Armstrong started this. I wouldn't accept anything from there.

lol did you check what the temple institute is out of?

a Judaism that denies Christ is the Messiah.

so. . . .

but the question of whether Bethel & Jerusalem are the same place isn't a matter of interpretation, as though it could be swayed by ones belief about instrumental music. it just facts.
likewise, whether a human needs a sorcerer's stone or to stand at a certain mystical elven latitude & longitude in order to access ((or be accessed by)) spiritual things isn't a matter of whether one believes in baptismal regeneration or not. it's also just facts.

You think he should interpret the scriptures before spouting on them? Why? Why would it be wrong to simply teach what Jesus taught on?
Because these teachings are bizarre and foreign to orthodox Christianity.

People are saved and their minds renewed by hearing the word of God, not the opinion of man.

Your judgment does not surprise me. What are your qualifications? You passed a judgment...What are your qualifications to judge? If I am to accept what you say as true. I should know. Right?
My qualifications one more time:

"About this we have much to say, and it is hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing. For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic principles of the oracles of God. You need milk, not solid food, for everyone who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, since he is a child. But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil."

By the grace of God I'm in His Word.

Again, by His grace.

You are not there. You do not refer to nor do read the Word of God to any significant level.

That is the problem, you're hoodwinked and led astray by false doctrines for that very reason among others. I would be glad to help you, but as of now you are deceived and are being led astray and mock others along that ride.

Frankly, it is solemn and frightening to witness, but is nonetheless true.

Hey man, I'm not trying to be harsh with you personally. I just hope you would take into consideration what others here are saying. Just consider it. See if it's true.

I'm just considering the source.

There is no exegesis in the sermon I'm listening to. It's standard cult practice of stringing random verses together. One verse, long tangent of nothingness and opinion, one verse, long tangent of nothingness. Rinse and repeat.
It's biblical abracadabra. It's 2 Corinthians 4:2.

It was on Mount Moriah, on the Day of Pentecost, that the Church was born. Here, where Israel built a house for God, God built a house for man! It is this very same vicinity that is today prohibited to both Jew and Christian alike, by Muslim authorities.

I did not know this either. Very interesting!

And this is from Aish.com

~The Talmud teaches that when the Temple was destroyed, all the Gates of Heaven were closed, except for one: the Gate of Tears. At the Wall, Jews have always poured their hearts out to God. Thus it became known as the "Wailing Wall" because of the centuries of endless tears, shed by Jews yearning to rebuild Jerusalem.

I would believe Judaism before Armstrongism posthuman. ;)

Christian don't tap their toes to satan's music... it's too bad that you fill your mind and imagination with dark thoughts brought forth by music created to glorify darkness.
Is all secular music Satan's music?
What's an example of God's music?

You do remember that Jesus came from Judaism? And am sure He was called mystical or worse then. And you remember that Paul said eventually they all will be saved?

There's been miracles happening in Israel on a regular basis. They are calling Yeshu...salvation or save us. Everytime there's an attack, every prayer at the wall. They may not know who they are calling for...but they will.

The Jews were a supernatural people...and so is the body of Christ.

If that be the case
Then still they are conquered
Forget both Judaism and Armostronigsm
The Messiah shall prevail
All Hail King Jesus
The true temple from heaven shall come down
Just like the prophet said

This so called Judaism is not actually of the Bible
Contrary to popular belief it has nothing in Judah
The Wailing Wall is not even part of the proper Temple
Nor even close to the most sacred place based of Moses' Tabernacle
All this Kabbalah and Sci Fi Portals is not of the Jews
It's an echo of the heathen and other blind fables
None of it agrees with the Old Testament Prophets
And in many cases is outright at odds with the Torah

Herbert Armstrong. A cult.

We have a former member here on chat. Sparkman or something similar.

the question i have for you is whether you believe the scripture or not.
have you settled whether the temple mount is at Bethel or Jerusalem yet?

and you do know that the Talmud is the collective writings of the scribes & pharisees, right?
and that Judaism denies Christ?
these are the people Christ called sons of hell and some of the writings that He said were a fine way of setting aside the commandments of God.

what we've been talking about is not Armstrongism. it's about whether anyone has ascended to heaven except the One who descended, and about whether there are many doors to heaven or if there is exactly One Gate, and whether we all as humans are beings with a spiritual component already, or whether the spirit can only be accessed by magical objects and mystical shrine locations.

primarily, i was correcting you about the location of Bethel - that it is not the temple mount. and i see how that you don't like that, being corrected, ((probably i am a whipper-snapper who should stay off people's lawns, haha)) -- but are you really so intent on 'winning' something now in order to - what, save face? - that you'll gladly align yourself with Jewish mysticism, holding up a straw Armstongite-man in effigy, so you can declare yourself smugly a victor of some kind?

dear, all i wanted to do was inform you that no, Jacob did not dream on the spot where Solomon built God's temple.

what is it people say about how that when one can't argue against a point, they attack its source instead?
when they can't defend a position anymore, they attack an opponents character instead?

good grief. the topic, people. and the facts.
the facts:
Jesus is The Gate & the only way to the Father.
God detests sorcery.
Assigning mystical properties to physical objects and places is pagan occultism.

((and why isn't this in the conspiracy forum?))

I'm not upset posthuman. I do believe that Jacobs dream was the site of the future Temple.

There's something about an ancient name that I read when I was studying this. Am still trying to find it.

So I would call a tie. No need to argue about this. In my view anyway. Are you a whippersnapper ?

And am tired. I didn't do that bold by the way. My computer sometimes has a mind of it's own.

I don't think I attacked your character posthuman. If you are offended , then I apologize. Though not sure why.

Herbert Armstrong was a cultish figure...and his teachings are far off from truth.

I wasn't attacking to bring it down...it's the truth.
