Re: brother[/h]
I think that most denominations (NOT CULTS) have or once had agreement on the essential doctrines necessary for Salvation. I believe that anyone who believes and follows those essential teachings will be with Jesus for eternity.

I believe that there is great benefit in being doctrinally correct about things not included in these essential doctrines.

I realize that we are unlikely to agree on what is doctrinally correct until the Jesus brings us to Himself.

I believe that all who agree on the essential doctrines of salvation are our brothers and sisters in Christ.

I believe that treating our brothers and sisters (and even unbelievers) with courtesy and kindness is more important than winning arguments; even though I am sure that my words occasionally fall short of that belief.

One thing we have to understand is that every major Christian denomination believes in the Gospel of Christ. The Gospel is the one thing that ties us all together....Jesus. Yes there are differences among other doctrines; baptism, good works, ect. ect. For example you look at differences between Baptist and Presby there are some differences in doctrine but they both hold to the Gospel of Christ. Now look at a difference between Methodist and Jehovah Witness. Huge difference as the JW do not believe in the Deity of Christ which is found within the Gospel of Christ. The Gospel of Christ is the main truth which we should follow. Not a single "cult" believes in the true Gospel of Christ. Every major Christian denomination does. We argue too much about our differences and forget to preach the one thing that ties us all together....Jesus.

"Let God be true and every man a liar." St Paul circa 60ad

No one has it right (except God), but all are not deceived, those who profess that Jesus is God in the flesh and resurrected from the dead are 'right', all others are deceived.

I think there's a difference between not knowing everything, and being deceived. I don't think it's wrong to worry about things, or think about things, or whatever - it's almost an oxymoron to say we can be deceived by increasing in knowledge and wisdom! But you're quite right, there are limits to what we can know, and in the end it doesn't matter if WE'RE right as much as it matters that GOD is right.

I will probably catch flak for this, but at the end of the day there is but ONE (1) gospel...not 2, 3 or 50.....to say that ALL so called Major Christian denominations all teach and or believe the same gospel is a farce at best......you have the following...

1. Jesus<---faith into based upon grace and mercy=eternal life and eternal salvation
2. Jesus + works for salvation
3. Jesus + water for salvation
4. Jesus + water and works for salvation
5. Jesus by faith, but kept by works for salvation
6. Jesus + sacriments for salvation
7. Jesus + a particular church membership for salvation
8. Those who teach eternal life in Christ and those who teach you can lose salvation

And on and on and on.........

There is but ONE correct message of salvation......period....we do not ALL worship the same GOD even though we ALL name the SAME GOD.......

JESUS will say to MANY that come before HIS throne BOASTING in ALL of the the things that they have DONE in HIS NAME and he will clearly SAY...I NEVER KNEW YOU.........

The root of BIBLICAL CHRISTIANITY is SALVATION......if the ROOT is CORRUPT the whole TREE IS CORRUPT......

Many will reject this and I am sure I will hear about it.....the truth is the truth regardless of how much it hurts and or is denied!

If we are honest with ourselves...we will realize that all things are possible with God...
God has the power to enable us to be perfect...if we desire to truly not be under the power of any but God alone.

Many profess Jesus Christ and are actually doing more damage in doing so than good.
Many like to be under the power of this world.

Matthew 7:21-23Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

21*Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22*Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23*And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

What was the reason why Jesus said depart from me in the previous scripture I posted? Working iniquity.

If we really know Him...we will not quit running the race to be perfect and not under the power of any but God.

True, but Jesus's Prayer was for His Own, not for the World, but for His Own.. that they were 'in the world' for His Ordained Purpose, only that The Father keep them from the Wicked one. His prayer was for them to remain , to be a LIGHT in darkness... in the World yet not of it.... and if you bear His Testimony, the World will seems like it hates you, but they don't hate you but Jesus who lives inside you thru the Paraclete, because He testifies of it and the works thereof are EVIL.. indeed!

The world cannot hate you; but Me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the Works thereof are Evil.

I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given Me; for they are Thine.
I have given them Thy Word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest Keep them from the Evil one.
They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

Sanctify them through thy Truth: thy Word is Truth.

All men CAN be decieved. In fact all us have a few things wrong in our comprehension and view of heaven and "theology"

Conversely Jesus can not, nor ever will be decieved.

So,if one places their ear on the breast of the savior, annd gets thier rythm from his beating heart, they likely will find a hiding place of zero deception.

How does a person put his ear on the breast of the savior?

I think you spoke correctly EXCEPT for the glaring contradiction right in the middle.....
Are we all making it to complicated worrying about things that are not important.Jesus made it clear that he was the only way and that the ten commandments were still in effect and the that love concures all
Putting that phrase in there is a total contradiction of everything Jesus taught.

If the Law system remained in effect, (Violate one of these Big 10, and you will die for it.), then Jesus would never have had to die to redeem us from that "Ministry of Death."

......................... yes

you may see doctrines, practices, churches(rcc etc), groups (freemasons, republicans, lawyers, etc) ,
and even just individuals post thins that are directly forbidden by GOD'S WORD, or just opposed to GOD'S WORD;
and those are addressed, often with a little (or A LOT) noise.

every person believes what they are seeking for. the righteous continues righteous, the wicked continues wicked.....
