Hey! I heard from one Pastor that colouring the Hair is a sin. Is that true or a Lie?
Obviously the pastor was not married. If he was, after sleeping on the sofa, picking up his scattered clothing from the street, cooking his own meals, and finding one leg cut off all his pants,,, he would know it was not a sin.

it also says this " and His eyes were like a flame of fire; 15 and His feet were like burnished bronze, when it has been caused to glow in a furnace"

So do you also think he had blonde hair, eyes that were of fire, and feet made of bronze... lol[/QUOTE
But you said "Also i don't think this is a foolish thread, it was just an honest question."
Is it foolish or is it not? I say it is.

@raf i am not sure if he is evangelical. he is not my pastor.

@all: i just wanted to have some comments from you. let's not critisis a pastor or anyone else. just let's talk about facts. if it is a sin or not. i can no believe that it is a sin because i have no biblical foundation for it.

be blessed all!

What seems foolish to one man is clever to another, what is foolish to man is righteous to God

Your twenty five. Give it another ten, or so years, and you will have heard it ten times over. After a time it gets almost funny. I was with a church in the 60’s. Girls were wearing short skirts. The pastor was upset. He claimed that was a sin. To solve the problem, he made a mark on the doorway. The bottom of the skirts, and dresses had to touch that mark. Well, this pastor never schooled in engineering, was shocked to find all the women, and young girls followed his rule to the mark. Tall women had long dresses, short women, short dresses.
Little girls wore short pants…if they had wore a dress, well, the mark come up to around their necks. The word sin means, “falling short of the mark,”
In this case, it was literal.

True, it's like some people never learned about metaphors and similes etc. in school.

I think it can be, if that is where your confidence of beauty lies.

1 Peter 3:4
Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle
and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight.

I guess if you are told anything, you should ask for the verses to back that up. It is on them to prove it.

People wore short skirts to church ? I tend to agree with the pastor in trying to get people to dress more suitably though the tactics may not have been the best.

I guess I'm in the clear. My hair is black, but naturally brunette. :)
