The fear and trembling I do believe is a Godly fear. Fear of hurting someone is definitely a good reason for fear. We believe we are saved by grace through faith. We trust in the blood of Christ to atone for our sins. But we do fear deliberately trampling the blood or throwing his sacrifice away. I see fear not as a fence keeping us away from God but as a fence keeping us safe and secure in him.
