Jesus is God...as a matter of fact He is God-man...He is God in human flesh and He and the Father are one..One God..one in being, nature and essence so they are equal..they are coexisting, coeternal and coequal..you are to pray to the Father in the name of Jesus and through the Holy Spirit..God through Jesus is Lord of my life

Well, about Spirit. The Great Spirit, called Wakan Tanka is a conception of a supreme being prevalent among some Native American cultures. The Great Spirit can be compared to Holy Spirit I guess.
And most of the religious beliefs involve a God
I’d say you better pray to Jesus for he is the only way and mediator between humankind and Divinity. He is the one who understands what’s it’s like to be in the flesh. He is the one who gives you the Holy Spirit and eternal life. He is the one who will judge people. By praying to Jesus you will never go wrong
…the model of prayer that you are going to refer to “...Our Father in heaven...” was given by Jesus while he was not ascended yet

Tek, Does it matter who I pray too? If I am a new Christian, or on milk, the Holy Spirit intervenes for me for I know not what or how, or to who to pray, so I am covered there. Now I start to know more about Jesus and I learn through His prayers and His Words how to pray, what to ask and to whom to pray. As Jesus said... Nobody comes unto the Father except by HIM.(Jesus) But what if I did go by Him and I am now unto the Father, can I not speak directly to the Father. Did the VAIL not tear from the top to the bottom to OPEN up the holy of holy for ALL of us?

Jesus says this about prayer when we are by Him... If we abide in Chrsit HIS WORDS abide in us....
Joh 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you
So as Jesus raised His eyes to heaven and prayed in John 17, I guess we would do the same if we do abide in HIM. It is the Father that did all for Him, and it is also the Father that does ALL for us. Even the drawing to come to Father BY JESUS!

What an awesome God we serve.

Tek, while I agree with you that Jesus is the only way and mediator between humankind and Divinity. He is the one who understands what’s it’s like to be in the flesh. He is the one who gives you the Holy Spirit and eternal life. He is the one who will judge people. Jesus tells his disciples when we are to pray we are to pray to the Father and showed us how in what we call the Lord's prayer so really we are to pray to the Father in the name of the son so that it is through His righteousness and not our own that we commune with God

Jesus is God, approachable even for us. Being with The Father (Light which no man can approach unto) in our fleshly state would kill our flesh. The Father is approachable in spirit/heaven, and Jesus is approachable in spirit/heaven/earth/"prison". Jesus is the original high priest of the everlasting priesthood, without beginning or ending.

1Pe 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
1Pe 3:19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;
1Pe 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
1Pe 3:21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
1Pe 3:22 Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.

1Ti 6:14 That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:
1Ti 6:15 Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;
1Ti 6:16 Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.

Jesus is approachable Light, and so is the Holy Spirit, and the Father, but we must be in a specific condition to approach the Father in body and spirit.

Jesus is the same as the Father
Jesus is the same God as the Father but not the same Person..the Father did not die on the cross for our sins...the Father did not rise from death to life...the Father did place upon Jesus our sins and punished Jesus for our sins...do you see the difference?

Hey Sabbath and Law people.
Is Jesus God for you or just a Messiah?
Jesus is both God and the Messiah.

Who is greater Jesus or Father?
Jesus Himself said His Father was Greater.

Who should you pray to Jesus or Father?

Jesus said to pray to His Father in His name.

Who is the Lord of your life Jesus or Father?
The LORD of my life is Jesus Christ
The God i worship is both Jesus and the Father.

by what authority do you seek these answers?

Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
(Joh 15:16)

And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.
(Joh 16:23)

At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:
(Joh 16:26)

Weight of it seems we pray to the Father in Jesus name.
On a separate note Jesus is continually (we need it) interceeding for us even when we are off in la-la land.
Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.
(Heb 7:25)

Do not feel obliged to answer these questions, the Holy Spirit would not speak these things.

This question i consider was in part aimed at me, this i know from a previous conversation with this man.

John 10

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. 2But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. 4And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. 5And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. 6This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them.
7Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. 8All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. 9I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 10The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

11I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. 12But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. 13The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep. 14I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. 15As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. 16And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. 17Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. 18No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

19There was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings. 20And many of them said, He hath a devil, and is mad; why hear ye him? 21Others said, These are not the words of him that hath a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind?

22And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter. 23And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch. 24Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly. 25Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. 26But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. 27My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. 30I and my Father are one.

31Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. 32Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? 33The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. 34Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? 35If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; 36Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God? 37If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. 38But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him. 39Therefore they sought again to take him: but he escaped out of their hand,

40And went away again beyond Jordan into the place where John at first baptized; and there he abode. 41And many resorted unto him, and said, John did no miracle: but all things that John spake of this man were true. 42And many believed on him there

John 12

44Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me. 45And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me. 46I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. 47And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. 48He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. 49For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. 50And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak

John 5

Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. 20For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel. 21For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will. 22For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: 23That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

24Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

25Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. 26For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; 27And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. 28Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, 29And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

30I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

31If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true. 32There is another that beareth witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witnesseth of me is true.

33Ye sent unto John, and he bare witness unto the truth. 34But I receive not testimony from man: but these things I say, that ye might be saved. 35He was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light.

36But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.

37And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape. 38And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.

39Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. 40And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life. 41I receive not honour from men. 42But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you. 43I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. 44How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only? 45Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust. 46For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. 47But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?
