Once we get taught the full truth, Satan is totally powerless. Until then, it can be quite a battle. Thank God we don't have to be in control while that's happening. It's amazing to witness the spirit defeating Satan.

I told you to let the spirit teach you. Otherwise, you allow Satan to take control and that isn't what you want to happen. That causes argument and divides God's people. In due time, the spirit will teach you about the 12 apostles written in the book of Revelation. If you die before that happens, the spirit will teach you everything afterwards.

Yes I do but I learned that knowledge as a babe in the spirit. I have full knowledge of the truth now but you need to learn the basics before you can understand the deepest knowledge that the spirit is allowed to reveal to us before the end of the age.

so when someone says there are 12 and shows a scripture confirming 12, you have no issue coming out and telling them they are wrong and when they question you on the statement this is where you run the other way claiming you cant tell the answer?
sounds to me like a person to proud to admit when they are wrong.

The word apostle simply means "sent one" with no other meaning attached. Moses a was a apostle as well as any believer who walked by God, sent to do His will.

i agree but i was talking about the number of apostles not the word apostle.

We do not use what you call gematria as an interpreting tool to discover the mysteries hidden in parables. Its not matter of adding numbers and coming up with some sort of conspiracy to fit ones personal ideas. But rather number words are assigned a specific meaning to hide the spiritual meaning form the lost while revealing it to those who do have the Spirit of Christ. And this again includes the Old testament saints .If any man has not the Spirit of Christ the qualifier they simply remain a unconverted.

Twelve is used to represent the fullness of the governing body of God made up of all believers . The twelve apostles a remnant of all believers who are sent out represent those who make up the bride of Christ as saints on this side of the refomation. It was signaled when Christ came in the flesh . Where on the other side of the reformation he uses tribes in the same way as he uses the word apostles. They would also in the truest meaning of the word be considered apostles as those sent.

gematria as i understand it is the symbolic meaning of words and their numeric values, not a mathematical equation / numeric pattern of the number of times a word is used. some sort of system was used because so many names and titles have numerical values symbolic with spirituality. such as 12 like you said above.
