President Obama’s Vast New Anti-Racism Database

The New York Post called it the “largest consolidation of personal data in U.S. history.”
Obama collecting personal data for a secret race database | New York Post

July 18-Report: Obama Setting Up Secret 'Racial Database'
Report: Obama Setting Up Secret 'Racial Database'

Target: Credit Card Companies...

Target: Banks ...

Target: Schools and Colleges...

-

Target: Police and Correctional System

the White House has promoted the concept of “unconscious racism” and “unconscious bias.”

This is the idea that police, teachers—white people in general—are racist in their actions,
but not knowingly so. It is similar to the idea that white people can’t fully understand what
racism is because they have never experienced it.

Why It's So Hard to Talk to White People About Racism | Huffington Post

our president is promoting race riots and lawlesness,
can we see it in there fruits, or in our streets today?

is this a sin?

I am itching to answer this question but being a South African, in one of the more racist countries in the world the problem is much deeper than a simple yes or no.

I think I understand, but maybe not. Histories of various peoples, customs, things accepted, things forbidden. I do not think these to be so much racist as cultural differences unsurmountable. Now not taking a peron at face value due to ethnicity would be crossing the line.

God bless South Africa in all ways at all levels, amen.

What is the most suitable definition of racism and how does it manifest in action?

Is it a sin requiring atonement?
Firstly I feel that racism is from a fleshly desire to be better than others and anything different is a point of objectivity to be grasped. Just different skin colour, different features, different language. and your second point of sin derives from this action of seeing ones self better than another.

There are two points that jump out at me to verify the sin involved in this view, the first being "There is neither Jew nor Greek, bond or free, male or female all are one in Christ Jesus". The second thing is the direct commands we have directly from Jesus, which are to love one another, and how that is to be manifest itself through our actions and words;
Matthew 5
[SUP]43 [/SUP]“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor[SUP][i][/SUP] and hate your enemy.’ [SUP]44 [/SUP]But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, [SUP]45 [/SUP]that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. [SUP]46 [/SUP]If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? [SUP]47 [/SUP]And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? [SUP]48 [/SUP]Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
The whole of chapter 5 shows how we are to live. Living this way is producing the fruit of the Spirit through what God is doing within us through the relationship we have with Jesus.

God bless.

Cultural differences are quickly dismissed as being racist. We get many people from outside of Africa embracing the cultural differences, but to do it for a month or so is easy. The challenge is when it starts to integrate with your day to day existence.

I was brought up to believe that Racism is hatred towards a particular race or races. Now it seems that this straightforward definition has become confused with skin colour and religion.

Its a sin because God made everybody. They are all Children of God.

No not requiring atonement because Jesus has died for our sins. Just repent of this sin.

Because doubt is not the opposite of faith but unbelief is. Anything that does not come from the faith of Christ, the faith of God as it is written in the scriptures.. is sin.

Romans 14:23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

As new creatures having passed from eternal damnation to new eternal spirit life , (the Christian's position in Christ) .We are no longer considered male not female, Jew or Gentile. We therefore know no man after the flesh.Which would include the flesh of the Son of man. Racism is sin. The refomation has come.

Wherefore henceforth know we no man "after the flesh": yea, though we have known "Christ after the flesh", yet now henceforth know "we him no more".Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new2Co 5:16

Two of my least favorite words in the same sentence....the reason is because both have become the mating call of the self righteous.

Racists think they are better than other people who are different from them. When most people say the word racist, what they really mean is prejudice. We are obviously called to love God and neighbor. Now here's where things get funny; I like and love most people and pray for people's salvation, however at the same time I hate damn near everyone. Why? Because I hate special interest groups, and most people are part of one special interest group or another. Special interest groups are greedy, divisive, cancerous sores that are fracturing this great nation and will one day ultimately be its ruination. A house divided against itself cannot stand.

There are a small pockets of people who hate someone based on their skin color or religion or whatever....but the other side of that coin is that the people who paint everyone with that same brush are abusers and have much in common with the way common criminals think.

Hi Infusion:

IMPURE is the key word here. You have heard about the days of Noah. Well those days started again after the flood and will probably culminate during this generation. These people they killed under God's orders were probably of impure DNA. This DNA if allowed to continue would contaminate the pure blood God gave Adam. Also, they were pagans worshipping idols. The animals were killed in order to get rid of any Chimeras (crosses between animal and man---remind you of what is going on today?).

Now you ask yourself, Was God was a racist doing this, NO....He is not going to allow MAN to change his creation or worship Satan very long. This is a preview of what is to come for those that do not follow Christ.

Racism is state of mind that can manifest in only the human mind where they feel that a person of different color, culture, nationality, sex, etc. is inferior to themselves. In my mind, this is Judgement of another that is a sin as stated in another thread. We are all sons of Adam and there is no difference within.

The sad thing about it is that there are many Christians out there that are racist and proud to declare such.

rem,,, Racism is simply another way to say "I am Judging you".

Matthew 7:1-3 (KJV)

"7 Judge not, that ye be not judged.2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?"

To say other races have impure DNA is the foundation of a racist.

The lord detested many of the cultures and had the Hebrews overthrow them deeming them impure, such as the Canaanites. He even had them kidnap others wives and destroy even the children, and to burn every last thing to the ground. Does this make the Lord a racist?
the All High never hated them for their race, He judged them for rebelling against Him.

IMO,Its treating someone as If they don't deserve the same respect as yourself because of color, which Is like blaming GOD because GOD created everything.

Ie
Lets say,a person Is a great professional boxer and he Is black and he Is being mistreated by another group that feels superior to him,so they decide to put him In a war to fight for them and they won't even treat him like a man In his own country.

When you ask,Is It a sin requiring atonement?

All sin require atonement and that atonement was made by JESUS and grace was provided through faith and after the person has been born again, their spirit Is sealed once and forever and then like Paul said we should renew our minds and be conscious of our right standing before GOD.

The lands given to the first Israel were taken from those nations because they had turned to detestable practices. They had forgotten the Living Creator and had turned to worship things of their own hands, witch craft, familiar spirits and more.

Like with all sin and individuals, our Fathe loves them all, but He hates the sin......do not confuse God's perfection with that of the imperfection of His creatures for He created all things in love.

I would say it depends, hating someone because they're a different race would viola love thy neighbor, but for Israeli's it was considered not legal to marry wives of other races, so in this area would have been nearly a violation not to be "racist", so I would say in general it is not good in spouse choosing it is good, so there is a place for it, not generally hating though.
