Yes. Specifically, there were about 40 people over the course of some 1500 years on three different continents in many different cultures who were inspired to write what would eventually become the books of the Bible. Did God tell them word for word what to write? You will find disagreements among Christians about that. I don't believe it was word-for-word, but in terms of the thoughts, concepts, commands, etc., the Bible says what God wanted it to say.

Words written by people who had God in them...inspired and given revelation by God Himself...
Wich leads me to wonder about the lambs book of life and our names found in it....
I wonder sometimes.... things I've written.. Inspired in me by God himself ... Will be likewise to those written in the days of old... God is everlasting.. Why shouldn't his book be by those He Homself have created.?
it is our relationship with Him that is being restored to fullness and completeness by Him... Lead by him, loved by him, protected by Him, secured by Him... We are his children.. are the words written in the biblle by the same children of God presenting To us today simply a marker of perhaps what we are to be writing and sharing with the world ? pointing the way to what god is doing now in so many compared to then. ? he is mighty and deserving of a book much larger than it is... I get slammed for writing some of the things I write... do I care? Not ine bit.. He is deserving of such glory ... maissue novel of Him be great!!!!!

2 Timothy 3:16 says " All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness." Other translations say "inspired" by God. God used man to write down the words. So, yes, it was written by men, but what was written came from God.

If the Bible was NOT the Word of God, then I would have no reason to trust it, obey it, learn from it, etc. :)

The Bible is the inerrant Word of God. God spoke it to his people and they recorded it onto paper in their own voice (personal writing style).
