That's right. While "the church" may be called up, the world and its people will remain. But no one knows when this will happen except God. I also recall in Revelation it saying something about Satan and the Devil being cast out for several thousands of years, then returning to face "the battle" (if memory serves my correctly). So while Jesus may come any time, I think the ultimate end probably won't be for thousands of years.

Only God Our Father knows the true time.
But I am wondering if this is to be an oppertunty for saten to fool many.
It is said he is the great imposter. So it will be interesting to see what happens.
For me, I rest in Our Lord and savior Jesus!
The lamps and jugs are filled with the oil of faith.

Nah, its not the end yet. The tribulation has to happen first and what composes the tribulation is in the Bible and none of that has happened yet.

There is so much happening right now. Wars and rumors of wars. Knowledge and technology increasing at break-neck speeds. Everyone living for themselves just as in the time of Noah. Sexual immorality and perversions are becoming acceptable as in the time of Lot. "His judgement cometh and that right soon!" Seek the face of the Lord and be prepared, for whenever it happens, it will be quick like lightening flashing from the east to the west. Come, Lord Jesus, come!

If I had a dime for every false prophet that to put a year on gathering together unto Him. I highly doubt you came up with this year on your own. However, you should be a little more careful when you speak as a matter of fact. Don't listen to those whose put a timeline on any prophecies before the tribulation starts, better to listen to a man who can discern the signs of the times.. Once the tribulation starts for then we know how long.
  • Christ gave us signs to look for.
  • The only years He gave us was that it happen within the generation of the fig tree.
  • If you are using prophecy that will be fulfilled during the tribulation then you will never get anything right.
  • Attempting to predict the year using "Bible mathematics" will always give you a wrong answer.

nobody knows but i think the end of time will come when the majority of us becomes a non believer and start persecuting the remaining Christians :)

But If God had planned a flood in 2012, im sure he has called it off now, it wouldnt be a suprise now, 'never know when the master of the house will return'...

I wanted to repeat this because it has been on my heart more lately that I said before.
One has to question if there will be some kind of difficulty, because satan is the great imposter, a lier, an oppertunistic devil. That all of this is hype and a plan to decieve many.
Always in faith know that only God Our Father knows the day, the time.
Also that Jesus said, I am the good shepard, I know my sheep and my sheep know me. I will not let you be taken from my hands.
So trust in Our Lord Jesus and you will be saved.
So hope I didnt sound to appocoletic, I just wonder if thats what may be on the horrizon.

Read the whole verse, it says we won't know the day or hour. Another desperate rapture ploy.
I suppose you think Christ wasted His breath giving us all the signs during the tribulation to look for and now you want to stamp a year on it. I've seen many of false prophets do this.

Aww pay attention He tells us to watch all the night(all of satan's reign). The rapurists have nothing to watch for, no signs to heed. There house shall be broken up.

When will most least expect Him? If the whole world believes the messiah is here and the situation looks oh so very dim.

Why in due season?

People, Christians are always in tribulation, John was in tribulation in his day as we are now.

forget this pre-trib, post-trib stuff, tribulation is on going until Christ returns, whenever that is, hopefully soon. Amen.

Yeah, but were talking about great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Christ said "take heed" concerning His return and our gathering together unto Him, not "forget this".

Satan is coming first to deceive as many as He can by claiming to be the messiah. 2 Thes 2

13Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Evil day= anti-Christ's reign(satan himself). Satans reign usually prophesied with 'night'. Here we see it called the "the evil day". The Day of the Lord is always called 'that day' throughout the NT. As that day will come in the night when you don't expect it.
