Islam is wrong!

But it is not evil. This entire post is fear mongering and evil. No people are evil. ...........................
You missed the mark on this one. When someone does evil, and another doesn't have a problem with it, then they are furthuring that evil. Islam frowns on those that call out muslims. Read associated articles with this event. I am inundated with it here. He didn't join hamas, isis, boko haram, or al qaida. He became a muslim. People that do this kind of savagery because they join a religion have joined an evil religion.

The entire post was factual news reporting. No lies, no spinning, simple facts, and I resent you accusing me of being a fear mongerer.

Nowhere did I say people were evil, and I have no clue why you felt the need to add that when addressing my op.

And somebody wrote three posts prior that Islam is not evil. Yet, the Koran or Quran clearly states to kill infidels. The holy evil book of Islam.
1 Samuel 15

2 Thus saith the Lord of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt.

3 Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.

Our bible speaks the same. We simply need to understand what it means.

I was introduced to a wonderful Muslim American woman (born in California) who told me she would be my resource. We have become great friends!
You run into a nice Nazi, so become an apologist for Hitler? Wonderful!

Yea Islam is evil, that is true. Be careful though that this does not lead you to hate muslims. Muslims are just people caught in a well crafted deception. My heart breaks for them, for the muslim is more persecuted by the deception of Islam than anyone else. Don't let that lead you to make excuses for Islam either, there is no excuse for Islam, it was created by that ancient dragon pretending to be an angel of light whom deceived and even tortured Mohammad.
I'm learning to agree. I used to be harsh and will admit that I can still lose patience for these people very quickly, which is why I try not to involve myself on Islamic topics by Muslims themselves even if their flaws are obvious. In the end, they are victims of cultural beliefs that stemmed within Islam itself as well as what they are being fed and are probably scared to even question.

Friend, you need to study your bible a little more. How God dealt with Israel in the old testament IS NOT how He deals with us today. That was a weak and non-factual rebuttal.

We are to do the same only in understanding that it is NOT flesh and blood, but imaginations and thoughts that try to sit above God. Not reaching, just showing the truth. Why hate a Muslim simply for being such? That type of thinking is my enemy and what I aim to cast down.

Does that help even a little? You do realize JESUS is the New right? You do realize God's justice is divine.

There is something mentally wrong with your theology. Did you read it on the back of a Wheaties Box or something. Mr Postee of 1,077+

You need to read the Bible properly mate!

I read that and giggled.
I giggled writing it, in a indignant and mournful way that brings forth the old man, that would like to kick somebody in the seat of their pants...

You can love them but keep your distance from them. Muslims can be most harshest of non-Christian cults the majority of them believe our JESUS is there jesus when He ain't. Just be careful and you have every right to think what you feel.

I don't need help. Only children make fun of what they don't understand. Abraham was LIVING when Jesus walked. Death and that type of thinking is what is passing away.

Islam is wrong!

But it is not evil. This entire post is fear mongering and evil. No people are evil. If you actually knew anything about Islam, you would realize there are many bridges to reach people for Christ. Most Muslims, esp in North America are peace loving. The Jihadists are just extremists.

I would hate to have people judge my faith in Jesus Christ by the Westboro Baptists, because that is what most of you are doing on this thread, except Richie.

Muslims are coming to Christ in unprecedented numbers in the Middle East through dreams and visions. Jesus is calling these people to come out, and yes, they are facing death and torture. But Jesus is so real to them.

Here are some excellent books you can read, to upgrade your knowledge of Islam, which for most of you seems to come through FOX news, extremist sites and weirdos.

Dreams and Visions by Tom Doyle

Toward Respectful Understanding and Witness Among Muslims edited by Evelyne A. Reisacher et al

The Gospel for Muslims by Thabiti Anyabwile

Through the Eyes of Christ: How to Lead Muslims into the Kingdom of God by Harry Morin and Nikki Arana

Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus: A Devout Muslim Encounters Christianity by Nabeel Qureshi foreward by Lee Strobel.

The Great Commandment tells us to make disciples:

"And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.[SUP]19 [/SUP]Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, [SUP]20 [/SUP]teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." Matt 28:18-20

Are you obeying that commandment with your Muslim neighbors and co-workers? Do you have a clue how to share the gospel with a Muslim in a way that he/she will hear and respond? I had a professor in Baptist seminary who was on leave from being a missionary in Indonesia for my class in World Religions. He also talked about how Jesus would speak to the Muslims about Christ, and eventually they would come asking about him. He is back there now, bringing Muslims to Christ. But how shall they hear if they do not have a preacher??

"How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?" Romans 10:14

Honestly, sometimes when I read the posts in this forum, I wonder if the majority have ever picked up and even read a Bible!! I wonder if they know that Jesus calls us to be about his business, which is making disciples, not passing on nonsense they know nothing about!! We are ALL called to be evangelicals, and that means evangelists, spreading the GOOD NEWS, from the Greek. Not judging and condemning, but being a part of the harvest!

PS. I am putting a course together by demand for my church to teach about Muslims and how to reach them. I prayed that God would introduce me to a Muslim, and the next day, I was introduced to a wonderful Muslim American woman (born in California) who told me she would be my resource. We have become great friends! I did not know she was Muslim, but that her name was Amal. That night I watched a movie about a Muslim woman named Amal, and I put it together. Sort of my vision for the week!

This Baptist woman is really listening to God doing a new thing, are YOU!!!???
How can a religion that denies the deity of Jesus while rejecting the bible as the all sufficient rule of faith and practice while promoting a way that leads to hell not be evil and of the devil?

All I'm saying is if this is the case, then where would we find satan as being transformed as an angel of light?

Understand this, Mohammad does not claim to be the writer of the Koran. Indeed, it is well known Mohammad claimed to be illiterate and unlettered, which if so, he could not read and could not write He claimed to receive the Koran (Koran meaning literally Recitation) from an angel of light. There is an episode in Mohammad's life which prove he could not tell difference between Satan and the supposed angel of light whom dictated to him the Koran.

So you can see the deception brother. And it is a double-edged deception. For we can in no ways hate or try to kill the people, whom are the muslims, caught under this deception lest we ourselves fall into that same deception. Nor can we compromise with Islam for that is the other edge of the deception. Only through Jesus Christ can that deception be broken. This is why the atheist and the secularist and the pagan cannot defeat islam, they cannot even fight against it, nor can they understand it. Remember our fight is not against the flesh and blood.

Hey, you just leave her alone David. Let her believe she is doing something good okay...bahahahaha

She doesn't realize prayer and blessings is all that is needed and to allow the Lord to do the rest with the power of the Holy Spirit. Is it just me, you, and JesusIsAll plus a couple of others, but are our cups of Faith/Trust runneth over? I like to think so! I believe GOD can handle the hard work. How? Well lucky for them JESUS appears in their visions and even in their dreams.

Which is something I will never get to have...oh well...blessed are they who believe and not seen...bahahahahaha...

I can't wait to see you Lord, making me wait to see your radiant face when I cross the finish line is the greatest prize I could ever want. I hope I will have earned a crown so I can take it off and place my crown at your feet. I know I have been rewarded but the rewards all belong to you.

And to everyone else who is on the same ride as me! He will be so proud of us for hanging on.
