Jesus said the great and first commandment is that we love the Lord with all our hearts, minds, and souls. He said there is a second commandment like the first, that we love our neighbor as ourselves. He said all the law and prophets depend on these two commandments. I think it is our responsibility to treat each other with respect.

The problem is that the word Love can be used in so many different ways in western language that we can not truly express what we mean.

I Love God
I Love my wife
I Love my kids
I love italian food
I love to ride my motorcycle

Loves has many meanings, there for we are to love the world and not hate it at all, but love it. That is why some christians have taken out of proportion the verse that says "those who love the world are of the world" which love are we talking about here? the Love of God or the love of pizza.

I was just thinking about this scripture last night. :)
I know we all se how we are to love our neighbor, but how many of us see how important it is to love one's self?
Now Im speaking to God's love here, not worldly love. :)
