Dear Crypto, Why do you bring up so many recent teachers? Protestants only? Don't all Christians have the following people in common

Basil the Great
Gregory of Nyssa
Gregory Nazianzus
John of Damascus
Augustine of Hippo (heretical, but has some good teaching)
John Chrysostom
Irenaeus
Athanasius
Cyprian of Carthage
Tertullian (heretical, but has some good teaching)
Origen (heretical, but has some good teaching)
Gregory the Great
Leo the Great
Vincent of Lerins
John Cassian
Ignatius of Antioch
Justin Martyr
The rest of the Church Fathers of the first 800 years
These teachers were the first Christians. Shouldn't we learn what they said more than what people after 1517 said?
Shouldn't we study modern teachers who rely on the Church Fathers? And the Bible?
Why should we rely on modern teachers who get their ideas from the Protestant Reformers? Not everyone agrees with, believes in, nor accepts the distinctive ideas of Protestantism. But even Protestantism, Luther, Calvin, Knox, Zwingli, Melanchthon, read the Church Fathers. They didn't want to teach anything different than the Church Fathers did teach, but, unfortunately, in their zeal to correct the errors of Roman Catholicism, they introduced new errors of their own. We are all likely to err/ I am likely to err, because I don't know much about the Church Fathers. I have only read a minimal amount of St. Basil and St. J. Chrysostom, St. John of Damascus and the Apostolic Fathers, although I am very well familiar with St. Photios. A later Church Father.
God bless you much in Christ Jesus. Amen.

I like his teachings and the fact that God is still using him through the technology of the radio, and now the Internet, even though he has left this earth. I don't agree with some of his dispensationlists views but overall, I am really blessed by what his programs have to offer.

This man, Crypto, called Darwin Fish, may himself be some sort of false teacher, but I'm not saying that everything I ever believed was true. I used to believe false teachings, and I may have inadvertently shared some of my dispensationalist pre-tribulation leanings with others. I used to believe this stuff, because I read Hal Lindsey, John F. Walvoord, Tim LaHaye, and I didn't read the Bible very carefully. I just accepted what THEY said that the Bible says!
About J. Vernon McGee, though, according to Darwin Fish, he is a false teacher.

God bless us. Save us from false teachings. Forgive us if we teach falsehood, and someone correct us and show us the truth from the Scriptures, so we can repent of our false doctrines and be saved. God save us, and for give our past immorality, and keep us from committing any more immorality in all the days to come. Amen. God bless you, Crypto. Amen. In Erie PA Scott R. Harrington

Sorry. I harrass no one. Is disagreement harrassment? It's okay if you like whatever teacher you want. Is there some law that says we all must agree on who's teaching the truth? People are allowed to disagree without being falsely accused of harrassing others. I sometimes think people like to think I'm attacking them personally when I disagree with their doctrines. I don't take things personally. You are free to disagree with what I say, and I won't say you are harrassing me. Sorry if you misunderstood what I'm saying. I'm not trying to harrass you or make you sick.

Crypto, To be fair to you, there is some truth in almost every Bible teacher. So I'm not getting personal against you: Sorry if you think my suspicion of this teacher's doctrine is me harrassing you. Not at all, dear sir. If he is a dispensationalist, this J. Vernon McGee, I disagree with dispensational theology. So on that basis, I know and understand that the Scriptures do not teach any form of dispensationalism. That's all! God bless you.
