“And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

and she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭12:1-2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The beautiful woman wearing crown and jewels gives birth to the male child whomis to rule from the throne of God and then she is Carried into the wilderness for a time . Later we see tbat the beast has caught the woman and her appearance has been altered

“And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:

and upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭17:4-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Do the prophets give us any insight into this imagery ?

genesis 37:10-11 israel is the woman with the sun clothing her and moon under her and a crown of twelve stars )she is shown as beautiful because God made her beautiful

“Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations,

I decked thee also with ornaments, and I put bracelets upon thy hands, and a chain on thy neck. And I put a jewel on thy forehead, and earrings in thine ears, and a beautiful crown upon thine head.

Thus wast thou decked with gold and silver; and thy raiment was of fine linen, and silk, and broidered work; thou didst eat fine flour, and honey, and oil: and thou wast exceeding beautiful, and thou didst prosper into a kingdom. And thy renown went forth among the heathen for thy beauty: for it was perfect through my comeliness, which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord GOD.”
‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭16:2, 11-14‬

That’s why we see the beautiful woman wearing her crown and her beauty is renowned above the earth

“And of thy garments thou didst take, and deckedst thy high places with divers colours, and playedst the harlot thereupon: ( that’s why she’s wearing different colored garments and jewels )

the like things shall not come, neither shall it be so. Thou hast also taken thy fair jewels of my gold and of my silver, which I had given thee, and madest to thyself images of men, and didst commit whoredom with them, And in all thine abominations and thy whoredoms thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, when thou wast naked and bare, and wast polluted in thy blood.

Thou hast built thy high place at every head of the way, and hast made thy beauty to be abhorred, and hast opened thy feet to every one that passed by, and multiplied thy whoredoms. How weak is thine heart, saith the Lord GOD, seeing thou doest all these things, the work of an imperious whorish woman; Wherefore, O harlot, hear the word of the LORD: Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thy filthiness was poured out, and thy nakedness discovered through thy whoredoms with thy lovers, and with all the idols of thy abominations, and by the blood of thy children, which thou didst give unto them; behold, therefore I will gather all thy lovers, with whom thou hast taken pleasure, and all them that thou hast loved, with all them that thou hast hated; I will even gather them round about against thee, and will discover thy nakedness unto them, that they may see all thy nakedness.

And I will judge thee, as women that break wedlock and shed blood are judged; and I will give thee blood in fury and jealousy. And I will also give thee into their hand, and they shall throw down thine eminent place, and shall break down thy high places: they shall strip thee also of thy clothes, and shall take thy fair jewels, and leave thee naked and bare. They shall also bring up a company against thee, and they shall stone thee with stones, and thrust thee through with their swords. And they shall burn thine houses with fire, and execute judgments upon thee in the sight of many women: and I will cause thee to cease from playing the harlot, and thou also shalt give no hire any more.”

‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭16:16-17, 22, 25, 30, 35-41‬ ‭

This again is why we have this in revelation

“And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.

For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭17:16-17‬ ‭

Wherefore, O harlot, hear the word of the LORD: Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thy filthiness was poured out, and thy nakedness discovered through thy whoredoms with thy lovers, and with all the idols of thy abominations, and by the blood of thy children, which thou didst give unto them; behold, therefore I will gather all thy lovers, with whom thou hast taken pleasure, and all them that thou hast loved, with all them that thou hast hated; I will even gather them round about against thee, and will discover thy nakedness unto them, that they may see all thy nakedness.

And they shall burn thine houses with fire, and execute judgments upon thee in the sight of many women: and I will cause thee to cease from playing the harlot, and thou also shalt give no hire any more.

consider that revelation corresponds to the rest of the Bible and isnt meant to predict things outside of scripture

Sounds like the recent total solar eclipse.
In ancient times, abnormal astronomical phenomena meant that something important was going to happen.
I suddenly feel that all these biblical words have been hit on something.

“all these biblical words have been hit on something.”

I think so the scriptures always sound different if we’re reading them ourself or someone else is telling us what they say and mean . I think it’s important to hear what the scripture says because they always seem to enlighten or hit in something for me

The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son,

and sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.

Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage. But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise: and the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.

But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.

Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.

Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage. So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭22:2-10‬ ‭

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:15-16, 19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭19:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I believe "the woman" (in Rev12) is the same woman giving birth in Micah 5:3 (distinct from Jesus' Own Birth spoken of in v.2 of Micah 5), where Micah 5:3 also provides a "sequence" [not to mention, "the remnant"/"the remnant of her seed" being the same, also, in each of these two passages]:

"Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel." - Micah 5:3

[so, to be clear, each of these two passages ^ contain THREE entities: 1) "the woman / she" [i.e. the one giving birth]... 2) the one she gives birth to / "the man child" / "the male [G730 - arsena / arrēn (Rv12:13)--distinct from Jesus' birth in Micah 5:2]"... AND 3) "the remnant of her seed / the remnant"; ... and the "sequence" is provided (he will "give them up UNTIL"... "THEN...")]

Rev12:13 says, "...the woman which had brought forth the male [G730]" (at some point prior to the Rev12 events in timeline)

God did punish them pretty thoroughly for rejecting Jesus. What was the point of God bringing Jews back to Israel then? At this point they still don't recognize Jesus is their Messiah.

aim. It sure what you mean “brought them back “ are you talking about the in decision to form a three part state the West Bank Gaza and Jerusalem with the land ? Filled with Palestinians and Muslims and Jews and Christian’s ?

did God set up a democracy in Israel ? When he’s thier king ? Or was that the work of the world powers at that time ? If God restore them it would be because they repented and accepted the messiah and returned to him as God

He’s gathering his people both Jew and gentile by means of the gospel it began to be preached in Israel and is now extended to all peoples Jew and gentile same kingdom same promises same spirit same family of God

I’m not sure God has brought israel back as many think but it’s o my my own foolish opinion so it’s not something g I’m insisting you must believe .

truly God promised to destroy Jerusalem because they broke his covenant and leave it desolate .but make a new one with new people

I believe he’s gathering his people through the gospel and people believing Jew or gentile. The Jews that have existed through the generations that rejected Jesus srent dofferent from the gentiles that have

aid theres prophecy in the new testement for the restoration of Israel’s earthly temple and land I’ve never read it . The earthly Jerusalems story ends in perpetual desolation and th e heavenly Jerusalems story began where Jesus is on the throne

Oh wow, so you don't believe God had anything to do with Israel being a nation again? That's interesting....

I think He did. (Jeremiah 30:1-38:22 - too long to post) Also, the miraculous thing about Israel is that ever since the Jews have been brought back to their land, they've been undefeated, no matter how many nations come against them. God is apparently protecting them to keep them on that land

Zechariah 12:1 A prophecy: The word of the Lord concerning Israel.

The Lord, who stretches out the heavens, who lays the foundation of the earth, and who forms the human spirit within a person, declares: 2 I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that sends all the surrounding peoples reeling. Judah will be besieged as well as Jerusalem. 3 On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves. 4 On that day I will strike every horse with panic and its rider with madness,” declares the Lord. “I will keep a watchful eye over Judah, but I will blind all the horses of the nations.

This reminds me of the Six-Day War. No one was anticipating it but the Jews were able to capture East Jerusalem and thus reunify Jerusalem as a whole for them. It as a nice surprise. Not so much for the Jew haters.... :)

I think even though the Jews haven't recognized Jesus yet as their Messiah, I think Jesus is starting to try to prove to them that He is. He knows that they will repent and turn to Him soon. And some of them are turning to Him now in more apparent ways then before. Christian Jew organizations are active to try to persuade other Jews that Jesus is their Messiah, like Jews for Jesus. Those organizations haven't existed before 1970.

I will also speak of my own walk. I was in rebellion against God for a while (you can see it in my profile) and God cast me out into the desert so to speak. But before He did that, I was at church and went forward for prayer. The man praying for me and I both felt God's hand on me so strongly and the man said that "God's hand is on you and will keep watch over you." And then I was sent into the desert. It was the WORST time of my life. I cried so much that's how miserable I was. The only thing that kept me from committing suicide was God's promise to me that He'd come and take me back....

Finally He did, but it was in stages. He was the one that initiated everything, it was on His terms alone. I can honestly say that it produced a better Christian "me" than if He waited for me to make changes myself.

From what I'm seeing, some people expect Jews to repent and THEN God will bring them back to their land, but I think God had brought them back to Israel Himself and at the same time is working in their hearts like He did with me - in stages. Since He is taking the initiative, I have every confidence that Israel will come to see that Jesus is their Messiah, repent with much mourning and be transformed to be the godly Israel God had always wanted.

Jerusalem’s Enemies to Be Destroyed

2 “I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that sends all the surrounding peoples reeling. 6 “On that day I will make the clans of Judah like a firepot in a woodpile, like a flaming torch among sheaves. They will consume all the surrounding peoples right and left, but Jerusalem will remain intact in her place.

7 “The Lord will save the dwellings of Judah first, so that the honor of the house of David and of Jerusalem’s inhabitants may not be greater than that of Judah. 8 On that day the Lord will shield those who live in Jerusalem, so that the feeblest among them will be like David, and the house of David will be like God, like the angel of the Lord going before them. 9 On that day I will set out to destroy all the nations that attack Jerusalem.

Mourning for the One They Pierced

10 “And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son. 11 On that day the weeping in Jerusalem will be as great as the weeping of Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo. 12 The land will mourn, each clan by itself, with their wives by themselves: the clan of the house of David and their wives, the clan of the house of Nathan and their wives, 13 the clan of the house of Levi and their wives, the clan of Shimei and their wives, 14 and all the rest of the clans and their wives.

Notice that the Jews were already in their land promised to them from God, THEN they finally recognized that Jesus is their Messiah.

un well I just read prophecy and follow along u til I get to the point he says he’s going to destroy them and give the kingdom To others , and then watch it I fold in the gospel and listen to Jesus teaching the same things in the gospel the. His apostles after

agave you never wondered why not a single apostle was promising the restoration of this current earthly Jerusalem or nation of israel ? You won’t find Paul or Peter talking about the inheritance of earthly land the reason is this

“but the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.”
‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:7, 10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I God planning on restoring israel and then Burning it up with the earth or ? Did he promise an eternal
Kingdom that will never fall ?

“Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.”
‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

what I’m saying is simple Gods kk from isnt of this world this world is going to be totally destroyed including all the land. The reason is because they broke Gods covenant hat warned them

The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭24:20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

you are talking about the earthly land that’s going to become the lake of fire where the I godly are punished at judgement

Gods restoration is going to come through Jesus and the gospel Jesus never promised the land of Israel he promised a better world beyond death

at his earth is doomed along with israel the only salvstion is Christ and his kingdom that isn’t found in this world

Right tbey were brought back together from Babylon and the first scattering of thier people both isreal and Judah under the Roman Empire before Jesus came .

when he came they rejected and killed him. Read this carefully and ask who the wicked husbandmen were and what became of then and the kingdom

“Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country:

and when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it. And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another.

Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise.

But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son. But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance. And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him.

When the Lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen? They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons.

Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, The same is become the head of the corner: This is the Lord's doing, And it is marvellous in our eyes?

Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭21:33-43‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Im sure you know what that parable is talking about so I don’t think I need to elaborate but that’s my point

osraels kingdom was always co dituonal upon then repenting and returning to thier covenant tbey never did and when God sent the new covenant with Jesus they rejected it and killed him that left them desolate

now however any israelite as an individual not as a chosen and seperwte nation but as an individual can repent and be converted and saved

the earthly nation of Israel ….think of it for a moment they still today reject Christ as messiah Godnis it th at God has blessed them and brought them back to thier nation as they are rejecting him still ?

i mean talk to a faithful Jew about Jesus messiah and find out where thier spirit is on it

Thank you for posting. There's only crumbs left of love in this world. For the love of many shall wax cold. bv. I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, he who is ashamed of me, him I will be ashamed off.

But it also says that the Jews will finally realize that Jesus is their Messiah. And they didn't do that back then. This is one of those prophecies that have dual fulfillment, which I know you don't believe in. The Jews will believe in Jesus in the latter fulfillment - that is still to happen. Either way, the Jews are supposed to be already in their land when they do, which is where they are now. So it will happen in the near future.

It says the nation of Israel’s twelve tribes will finally accept the messiah ?

didnt some of them accept him then the entire early church I mean Peter John James Paul ect they were all Israelites .

What I’ve read doesn’t say what your saying ( m not saying it doesn’t I’m saying I’ve never read that part )

What I’ve read says pretty clearly that God would send the messiah to redeem israel and they would reject and kill him but a remnant of them would accept him and be spared the wrath and that remnant would carry the gospel onto the world to all nations

Israel would be destroyed but he would spare and deliver and even exalt a remnant from among them

Like I was saying the one nation chosen above all others but the Old Testament isn’t a thing anymore thier covenant had two options obey everything always and be blessed and be a kingdom or reject my judgements and break my covenant and be perpetually cursed forever but for a remnant I will spare and scatter among the nations

Yes but his love is within us who believe and is meant to not only comfort us but to be shared among others

remember the teaching of Jesus about having a lighted candle but then hiding it under a bowl so no one can see it

as long as Gods with you there’s enough love to go around sister you are swimming in it

*Shrug* I'm only going by what has actually come to pass according to the Bible, not by what others have interpreted the Bible as saying. I see that the Jews have been brought back to their land. And they're being well protected miraculously considering that they are such small nation. The Bible did say that God will bring them back and protect them and that's what's happening right now. I can't ignore that.

Yea I’m not meaning any offense or to argue just talking about what I’ve read in scripture against what many others say the scriptures tell us and it’s different

do you at all think that the United Nations forming israel again could be a deception meant to lead people astray later counting on that being Gods doing ?

that maybe God wasn’t the one behind the United Nations decision to slaughter Palestinians and take Jews from all nations where they were and offer a return to Israel ? Maybe that’s the other power in tbe world creating hoax ? To deceive people into looking at this world for answers

I would agree with you brother if israel had had a mass co van erosion to Christianity but they are as set as ever in tbe ot scriptures as a nation I’m talking about not as individuals but as the singular chosen and blessed nation of God on this earth …..that ended when they killed Jesus now th ey have to convert to the gospel like paup Peter John and the. All did

if God were to restore israel it would be according to his own words is my point and his words stated that if they repented and returned to keeping the covenant he would restore them they didn’t do that and now they have to accept th e New Testament because thier covenant was fulfilled as the curse for transgression he wrote in the law s not the blessing for obedience he wrote in the law they fulfilled thier covenant as a curse that left thier inheritance desolate

the inheritance in Christ isn’t on earth it’s still on heaven until he returns

When you said earlier I didn’t believe god would restore Jerusalem ot israel I do I just see it happening this way

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭21:1-4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I believe Jesus is going to restore all of creation as anew one and that then kingdom of Jerusalem is actually in heaven right now and will come in the end of the world from heaven and not according to the covenant that was broken regarding this earthly land

I dont believe Israel is going to be restored on this earth as it was in the ot and have another man made temple built ect like many others do so they can honor a shadow covenant that was only ever made to lead the world to Christ

a there’s no reason for them to go back to temple worship and sacrificing animals or trying to find someone to go speak to god and tell them what he said ect thier entire covenant is without purpose now God has stepped into the open on front of all nations they belong to the same kingdom gentiles do it’s not on this earth it’s where Jesus is and always will be wherever he is when he returns the kingdom will come

I think God got them to do it. Later on, the UN was like, "...WHAT WAS I THINKING?!??..." but it was too late!:LOL::ROFL:

Haha could be

“even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
‭‭2 Thessalonians‬ ‭2:9-12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Israel is talking about sacrificing red heifers and imagining a way to rebuild thier temple …..do you understand how that is a denial of Christ whomis the temple of God and was the sacrifice of God to cover all appeasement ?

you can see thier faith isn’t in him or moving towards faith in him . the goal in restoring Israel is to resurrect the old covenant to somehow . return to Israel as a chosen nation and seperate and above all others in Gods sight tbat is all desolate now it’s meaningless to God now to go sacrifice a heifer it’s just cruel now

It’s an offense to go back to a levite priest just sinners when we have the high priest of God with us continually

to go back to Moses words and covenwnt when we have a better one with better promises is slack and absence of faith in Christ . If God we’re doing it it seems like Christ would be getting the glory brother

a look also at the state of thier existance constantly under attack and threat surrounded on all sides by enemies wanting them gone forever from earth look at the state of the land of Israel Palestinians inhabit it foreigners Muslims Jews ect

God promised glory and peace when he gathered his people up
