Rebuking the storm ... I think it's all about God's will. If that was His intention for us then we will rebuke it and it will go.

But as I often ponder ... even though our faith might be strong enough to move a mountain, we can only indeed move a mountain if it is God's will for us to do so.

Yes, He sure does allow it....and He allows us to make our own "Storms" too.....but He is always there with us. He will never leave us nor forsake us. What a great truth to hold onto when the storms of life hit us no matter the reason that they come...Jesus is the answer to them....there is a time to rebuke the storm and then there is a time to trust in Him doing what needs to be done in the storm by the Holy Spirit's direction...Lord give us the wisdom to know the difference.....:)
And to know we are completely safe in Christ for all eternity gives me joy, hope, peace, and eagerness to want to live for Him! Nothing can separate us from the love of Him, we are more than conquerers through Him amen!

"For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Rom 8:38-39

Amen ..roaringkitten...

Romans 8:33-34 (NASB)
[SUP]33 [/SUP] Who will bring a charge against God's elect?God is the one who justifies;

[SUP]34 [/SUP] who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.

One day, the accuser of the brethren will be cast down!

"And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night." Rev 12:10

You are eternally secure by the blood of the Lamb! The blood of Christ is your defense! The evil one can accuse you day and night before God but Jesus already payed the debt you owed, a debt you could not pay! He did it in His own blood!(Rev 1:5). The accusations we receive that we are not safe, that we are not secure in the salvation He has given us, etc....is from the devil!

Amen...we need to be able to follow the Holy Spirit as He will lead us in all things...as we grow up in Him - we will know our Lord's voice better to be led in all things......if this was Ecclesiastes..it would say.."there is a time for rebuking and a time for refrain from rebuking"....lol ( I don't think that is an actual verse ....:cool: )

LOL..that made me laugh..sounds like a "Drive-by I'll condemn you if you don't believe like me thread"
I was just thinking of the sum total of statements by some historic holy Joes here, who will never be content until they convince somebody salvation is like a yo-yo or spiritual reincarnation, one can only suppose hoping to die during a saved cycle. And it's always the holy Joes who are really off diddling somebody else's wife or something. Have seen many a comment you so poetically put as "drive-by" condemnation, like that "drive-by," need to remember that. Hey! Or attempted hit and run? I don't know who's buying it. Maybe it's just hoping to clip some child on a bicycle?

LOL...to die while in a "saved cycle"...what a concept!...but it is so perfect for describing such a mindset.
