that's cool; you don't have to accept me.
do you accept the Word spoken through Isaiah?

So is My word that goeth out of My mouth,
It turneth not back unto Me empty,
But hath done that which I desired,
And prosperously effected that for which I sent it.

(Isaiah 55:11)

you can know that God's word does not fail to accomplish His purpose if you believe that.
hope it answers your question better than i could :)
I accept the Word, spoken through Jesus Christ. I need no other. All truth is in Jesus Christ.

So if I prove, undeniable, that not everything written in the bible is scripture, as you have just said,

"There is a higher Authority than me that says it is so."

Will you admit to us, you are of the devil?

Yes or no?
First prove that everything written in the bible (Original manuscripts) is not Scripture and we will go from there.

So you will not step up and honor your own words.

I do not bluff.

This is good enough, you want to see my hand, you ante up.

Jesus Christ is the Prophet of prophets.

What more do you need other than Jesus Christ?

Jesus approves Isaiah; how can i reject him?

He also says of His sheep: "
they hear my voice" - so i know He does not speak in vain.
He says "
heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away" - so i know His purpose stands.
this is the Word of the Father, and the Son does nothing except the work of His Father, and this is the same Word of Isaiah.

Jesus is that Word, enfleshed, and He does not fail to accomplish the will of the Father who sent Him!

:D

Wimpy...

You made your case that Jesus is true but you did not make the case that the rest of the bible was not (true) Scripture/God's Word.
