Several things.
1) the word says at baptism it is analogous that we are buried with Christ under water and raised through coming up from the water.
Your hack job omits that dimension .
2) to say that the cross was the only dynamic of salvation is to deny the power of his resurrection.
You park in a one dimensional half gospel realm,therefore when met with the full gospel you stumble over the resurrection.
You need to do a little more studying on the resurrection.
The cross,if we terminate our gospel there,will NOT LEAD TO RESTORATION.
The resurrection was first fruits to the Father.
Read Hebrews around Ch 11,and you will find where Jesus presented his blood IN HEAVEN.
IOW,the cross was a dynamic of the whole,not a all-encompassing finality.

I was accused of not knowing what I'm talking about, for not knowing the whole truth about JM, & twisting things she said to discredit her. So..... after that, I just started posting anything that had her voice on it discrediting herself. The speaker was irrelevant to me. I don't know him or what he does.

or in other words........we will never develop Godly character until we understand God sees every part of us..... couldn't agree more with Mrs. Meyer. Cant hide from God Like adam... and have Relationship with God. doesn't work. gotta stand in His sight willingly to be healed.

Where is it in Scripture that Jesus went to hell and got beat up by demons? I can't find it. It's frequently in movies/ cartoons, that the devil (with horns, a tail and pitchfork) and demons partying in hell portrayed as a hot place underground, flames and little red suits. Besides that, isn't hell simply the grave? It's not the lake of fire where is the second death.

Just like you Willie, God used "sister" Joyce in my life too. I listened to her CDs and watched her DVDs for many years as well as watched her on tv. Last night after posting my response to this thread I thought of some of the things that might be said and if I even cared.
The things that are posted here in the negative I could answer easily since I've listened to her for so long and she most certainly is not a heretic. Reading the comments about the demons in hell jumping up and down on Jesus, and the we are gods thing and the use of her money thing and the fancy toilet thing. They all have satisfactory answers but only to those who care to know the truth.
Joyce Meyer has given me hours of feeding from the Bible and the kind of encouragement the Christians I knew 10yrs ago would not give. After my divorce of 27yrs all Christian family and friends disappeared. I had no one but tv preachers to listen too. I made a study of some of them and grew under the ministries., Joyce's being the first.
So when I read the OP and those who agree with him it's clear they just don't know the truth. They have heard only parts of what was said and if they want to know the whole truth., need to keep listening. But that is something they will not do because they don't NEED to like I did or like others have who know her preaching. And so the OP and those who agree with him will not ever know and I do understand that about them. Many many Christians are like that.
When I listen to John MacGarther (a pastor I grew up listening to on the radio as a believer) I'm shocked at the total misrepresentation he gives Joyce and some others I listen to who speak in tongues and believe in the new covenant of grace. So since good ol John MacGarther can miss it so badly, you guys are in some major company. People do hear what they think they hear and that is the truth. Being someone who lost friends and family because of divorce I know this to be true about people. Judging others is a human past time that takes a long time to learn not to do.

If she doesn't watch Illuminati conspiracy theory videos on YouTube all the time, then maybe when she hears or says 'All-seeing eye' she means literally the eye that sees all the time, and not a floating top of a pyramid on a dollar bill. And if Satan doesn't see all and God does, is it blasphemy or close to it to say that Satan has an all-seeing eye? Why give Satan credit for such a thing?

I agree with you if I'm reading you correctly. Just like the Samaritan woman who Jesus told her all about herself when she was at the well. He let her know He knew all about her and He forgave her knowing all about her. He let her know "HE" knew her 100%.
Unless we know God loves us the way we are because of Jesus we can't develop very much in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior. Many people don't know how bad they really are. That is why the sinners loved Jesus so much. They were given a revelation/realization of how much they didn't deserve and yet they got freely. They flocked around Jesus because He loved them.
It is hard to impossible to desire vengeance for others when we know how we were delivered from judgement by Jesus.

I have seen this before and totally agree. You never, not once, in the Bible see our God Yahweh called that "all seeing eye". Plus when you have a tele-evangelist like her, with her multi million dollar ministry and still calling for funds, her prosperity gospel with the sympathetic story of her childhood abuse (im NOT negating that, im sure she's truthful in that testimony), and the millions of people flocking to her teachings...that sounds alarms. Im not saying Joyce is deliberately dragging people down, just wondering if she is decieved and teaching false doctrine without even knowing it.

The million dollar preachers now saying gay is ok, christianity and islam are one in the same, the pope is our spiritual leader on earth, some new age stuff is okee dokee, Jesus burned in hell for our sins, we are little gods, grandma is poor because she has no faith, the preachers are rich because they have faith,necromancy is now okee dokee, ask Benny Hinn, doing drugs is okee dokee, ask Benny Hinn, etc., etc., etc., ad nauseam!
Also this verse explains all the foolish doctrines:
Defile not the temple of God. 1Cor. 3:17-19
Behold the Greek: if any man misleads the temple( the people) of God, God will mislead that man.
So through deception and twisting the word of God, 2Peter 3:16, for fun and profit, God will continue to mislead and confuse that teacher. And that misled and confused charlatan brain washes his devotees to destruction. Can I get a hardee WHOOPIE?
2Cor.2:17. For we Are not like SO MANY OTHERS, who peddle the word of God (for huge) financial profits, on the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity (the truth of His word, not twisting) as men sent from God.
