May all of us who love the Lord learn from history and renew our minds. This is a sad day were thorugh history we can see what rebellion against the Lord can do. If we follow him we have protection but if we live in rebellion he lifts that protection. He does this to turn us back to him that in the end our soul may be saved.

History of the 9th of Av,

Israelites could not go into the Promised Land and wander the desert wilderness for 40 years because they believed the report of the spies

First and Second Temples destroyed
135 A.D Jew rebel against Roman rule jew expelled from Israel
Expelled Jews from England 1290
Jews were expelled from France, 1306
the Spanish Inquisition expelled Jews from Spain 1492
World War I began, 1914
The Nazi Party comes up with "The Final Solution 1941

Jews from the Warsaw Ghetto 1942
The Gulf War 1990
Shoemaker-Levy 9, hits Jupiter 1994
Hezbollah bombed a Jewish building killing hundreds 1994
Jews who were expelled from the Gaza region 2005
Israel Hezbollah war going on 9th of Av 2006 12 die

Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu stop building a project of apartments in East Jerusalem after talks with the united states 2009

This day seems to be about rebellion of the people against God and the fear, loss, and mourning that happens because of it
Lord help us turn to you and to love you with all our heart, mind and all our strength and to love our neighbor as ourselves .

His coming will wipe the tear from every eye

i'm just wondering out loud what any of the following has to do with the Bible, or God's people.

i guess if one wants to keep a calendar according to a particular worldview....any narrative is possible.

Galatians 3:29
And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God's promise to Abraham belongs to you.
