(Revelation 20:3) And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

(Revelation 20:7) And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
(Revelation 20:8) And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
(Revelation 20:9) And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

I believe that the nations are totally together and ready to make war with the saints Yes, I expect the move to come any day now. Am I relatively comfortable in my christian life? NO, there is nothing comfortable about my christian life. this world is set against me. My family is not saved, and every second of every day there are temptations and heresies abounding in the entirety of the world.. you mentioned a strong man in Matthew 12 being bound. but here in luke11 we find the same story, but a slightly different picture.
20But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.
21When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace: 22But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils.
here it seems He is just talking about how he casts evil spirits out of people. Being stronger than the strong man. I guess its all just in the context of how we "choose" to word it.

Family? Christianity is a personal religion....I wouldnt stree about it too much. Jesus came to set families at variance.
I wouldnt worry about the world being set against you...thats menna happen too. We are called out of the world. Set apart.
