KUNDALINI WARNING - Are False Spirits Invading the Church?: Andrew Strom: 9780979907395: Amazon.com: Books

Written by a genuine "Insider," this is the true story of one of the most frightening "invasions" in the history of the church - and the fight to keep it out. Andrew Strom has been part of the Charismatic movement for over 25 years - and was deeply involved in the modern "Prophetic" movement for 11 of those years. He is the founder of RevivalSchool.com and the International REVIVAL List. In this book, Strom traces this mass invasion of false spirits back to 1994, and shows how it culminated in the bizarre events surrounding Todd Bentley and the Lakeland revival in 2008. What are 'Kundalini' spirits? What are the signs of their presence? And how can such an invasion be turned around? All this and more is discussed in this provocative book. "A 'MUST READ'" - The Voice Magazine. "The church of Jesus Christ does not realize that it has been infiltrated by demonic forces. Discernment has been lost! A book that is beyond needful." - Greg Gordon, SermonIndex.

Shouldn't this be in the conspiracy section? But I agree - I haven't watched the video yet, but I did see another some time ago. Jacket whippers, snake handlers, animal impersonators, mad laughter. These things are not of God.

I'm starting to avoid the conspiracy section.

Exod 15:2 The LORD [is] my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he [is] my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father’s God, and I will exalt him.

Sickening. Those movements remind me of what you see on the zombie movies. I think the answer to your question is yes. Or at least - these spirits are invading those calling themselves part of the Church.

You don't know how accurate you are. Search Youtube for church + thriller to see how prevalent this is.

The charismatic movement is a false spirit, so I think this is rather a late and redundant observation of a lunatic fringe that has been the bane of evangelical christendom for some 100 years or so. I'm not interested in watching what is already plain even on the very surface from the start.

Great documentary. Thanks for sharing. I agree, this type of thing is not Christian, and yet it seems to appeal to a great many who are Christian.

That's a good question. I was wondering the same. I thought Kundalini was a serpentine force within the human that arose from the Root Chakra and to the Crown Chakra while doing certain Tantric Yoga Asanas. It's a Hindu teaching. So I suppose they are saying that these flaky churchan tares are practicing some sort of yoga posture of Hinduism or something.

I was thinking the same and that would put it closer to New Age than charismatics....not that there is no relationship.

Well, you're probably right. New Agers, Charismatics, whatever. They're all the same. They might as well go join Oprah's Church of Religious Science and start standing around the 'Energy Circle' while singing I Am an Ocean. That way they can foam around on the floor, make nonsensical noises, laugh and cry together while listening to African drums or something.

'Yoga' is a good start, and, did you know that when one does that kind of meditation, you know, 'Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm,' or, 'hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm,' that it is to summmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmon demons :(

uh, uhmm, WHAT, you didn't know that :) Now , you do. The Lord leads.

And there is a petition out there that is INVADING the church denominations of america, changing them to belief in one God named 'Chrislam,' a mix of Christian beliefs and Islam beliefs. Many, many high leaders are signing it now, uhhhmmm, tell you what, I'll start a thread on this if one's not already been started. Demon spirits, like Kundalini, are alive and well in society and we must rebuke them 'in the name of Jesus,' as yoga is a religion in itself that many do and when one meditates and hums they could be saying that it is communing with God but God does not say anywhere in His holy bible that we are to worship and adore Him in this way ,does it ?

I didn't read what you wrote, because I'm drinking coffee this morning and it looked like I was going to have to get into some kind of discussion start having to talk about occult Hindu tantric yoga or something. I'm not interested in this video. All charismatics and new agers are lunatics to me. They can go be maniacs and liars somewhere else. I'm not interested. I have to go eat breakfast. Have a great day.

You're being a racist then, but, sigh, so many do not understand that God's Love is different than they think, it's certainly not the lunacy of that thought, discipled :(

The church started getting invaded when pagans started creating new Bible versions in the 1800's.
The seeds were planted then and what you see today is the harvest. I can really
grasp powerful reality of what Jesus said: Rev 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither
cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

Just makes Him sick.

I knew a lot of these cults were heretics, and took part in such madnesses as jacket flicking, snake petting, general madness and even the odd gold toothing. I suppose I never before had seen them move like zombies or howl like wolves (perhaps I just didn't make the link - I generally don't make a point of keeping up to date on the antics of madmen).

It's Sanskrit, it means "coiled". Kundalini "energy" (shakti) stays coiled at the base of your spine until released for some reason, such as yoga practice.

The same word is used to describe circular things, like hoop earrings and coils of rope. -> Cologne Scan
