Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. (1 Tim 4:12)

Gray hair is a crown of glory;
it is gained in a righteous life. (Prov 16:31)

...should i be concerned i'm not going gray more quickly than i am? :p

it's all about respecting each other as Christ respects us....not often an easy thing to do,
but it's always a learning experience, especially when we are shown our growth in Him
by the example that He so loving has offered to us...

I'll pass on one of the many nuggets that my great grandmother gave Mama and I at the birth of our first Child. The greatest legacy that you can give your children is a life lived for Jesus. I was so blessed to have so many wonderful teachers who have gone on to be with the Lord, and I look forward to the day that we are together again. I am also blessed to have so many young Christians that have had a positive influence on my life.

my dad was my example of how to live the Christian life, and he barely spoke a word about it.

he lived it in front of me.

i hope i did half as well for my own kiddos.

Hair dye won't stick to silver, white or gray hair anyways. The pigment is gone, and that's what the dye adheres to..

While it's true that age doesn't always equal wisdom or maturity normally the general thinking is that they have those qualities and with good reason. However I also think it takes wisdom to learn from babes as well, no matter how old we get or how mature we become in Christ there always more to learn and you would be astounded by what you can learn from a babe
So true, Blain. God speaks to us through all manner of people … young or old, male or female, every nationality, and socio-economic status.

We need open ears and fertile hearts in order to hear.

And we need mouths that speak what God has placed on the tongue to speak.

I love to see young ones who have tender hearts turned to God and hear how much they love God, how God is working in their lives, and what they are learning from Scripture.
