Isaiah

For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.

Who fell out of the window?
Eutychus

And after the uproar was ceased, Paul called unto him the disciples, and embraced them, and departed for to go into Macedonia. And when he had gone over those parts, and had given them much exhortation, he came into Greece, And there abode three months. And when the Jews laid wait for him, as he was about to sail into Syria, he purposed to return through Macedonia. And there accompanied him into Asia Sopater of Berea; and of the Thessalonians, Aristarchus and Secundus; and Gaius of Derbe, and Timotheus; and of Asia, Tychicus and Trophimus. These going before tarried for us at Troas. And we sailed away from Philippi after the days of unleavened bread, and came unto them to Troas in five days; where we abode seven days. And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight. And there were many lights in the upper chamber, where they were gathered together. And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead. And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said, Trouble not yourselves; for his life is in him. When he therefore was come up again, and had broken bread, and eaten, and talked a long while, even till break of day, so he departed. And they brought the young man alive, and were not a little comforted.

Solomon

And God gave Solomon wisdom and exceedingly great understanding, and largeness of heart like the sand on the seashore.
(1 Kings 4:29)

So sad that we read later…

For it was so, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned his heart after other gods; and his heart was not loyal to the Lord his God, as was the heart of his father David. (1 Kings 11:4)

What is the reason for the place name Golgotha?
John 19:17…. And He, bearing His cross, went out to a place called the Place of a Skull, which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha,

Scriptural references really don’t explain why.

Actually, there was one greater than Solomon...Jesus.

Yes. Yes it does. Specifically. Keep looking.
BTW.....the Church today has little in the way of serious study about this or most other Biblical matters.

1Sa 17:54
And David took the head of the Philistine, and brought it to Jerusalem; but he put his armour in his tent.

Golgotha CAME to mean "place of the skull".......of GOLIATH. Where David buried it as a witness to all Israel.

Goliath of Gath....."Gol of Gath". Goliath. Gol-gath-a.

Furthermore, Goliath is a type of the anti-Christ, David is a type of Christ, and the Lord GAVE UP His life SPECIFICALLY on Gol-gath-a purposefully as a SIGN of the ultimate victory over Satan and fulfillment of the Genesis 3:15 prophecy (among others).

Could the answer perhaps be that Genesis 3:15 was fulfilled on Golgotha, the place of a skull? Not a definitive scriptural answer, but beautiful Irony.

Genesis 3:14-15…

14 So the Lord God said to the serpent:

“Because you have done this,
You are cursed more than all cattle,
And more than every beast of the field;
On your belly you shall go,
And you shall eat dust
All the days of your life.
15 And I will put enmity
Between you and the woman,
And between your seed and her Seed;

He shall bruise your head,
And you shall bruise His heel.”

Yes… and the head would most likely have been buried outside the city. I just couldn’t find a definitive reference. VERY interesting! 😊
