An unclean spirit or demon is “unclean” in that it is wicked. Evil spirits are not only wicked themselves, but they delight in wickedness and promote wickedness in humans. They are spiritually polluted and impure, and they seek to contaminate all of God’s creation with their filth.

I have thought quite a bit about this idea too, and I always end up with the same question, if demons come into people and promote wickedness and contaminate God's creation (humans), then how much responsibility do humans actually have for their behaviors? Could we say that someone who would would have became a Christian didn't because of a demon controlling their thoughts and actions? Could we say that any or all wicked and sinful behavior wasn't truly them but a demon? How far can this stretch, I have wondered?

Then if we say that its a demon and they are not responsible, then that would open the door to God being unjust for punishing them, but since we know God is completely just, we then realize that mankind regardless of demon possession or not holds responsibility for his own actions. I think we just have to trust that God knows what he's doing when he separates the wheat from the chaff.

We sin because we want to. If you take a look at animals they do not sin. They kill if they have to, they have sex to procreate, they just fulfill their purpose. Humans act outside of their intended purpose. We have chosen to be our own masters and live for vanity. Christ has accepted our punishment allowing us access back to the Father so we can submit ourselves to His purpose. If we are truly Christian than our will should no longer be living a life of vane pursuits. The animal or flesh side of us has instinctive urges which are not sinful as long as they are practised as intended. It is not demons that tempt man, it is our desires to satisfy these urges for pleasure instead of purpose that become sinful. Sex for procreation within a family, not sin. Any sex other than that is vanity. Pleasure is just a chemical reaction. We decide to chase this chemical reaction. It's no different than deciding not to do drugs. No demon makes you do anything. That's just an excuse people use to justify their weakness and unwillingness to deny the flesh.

Seems to me it about both. After all God did speak the universe into existence by his Word Jesus. I reckon he has the science. Maybe I am wrong though.
It is,, who has weighted the mountains with scales, or measured out the sky, something like that.. Though Indeed it's about God Jesus and us of coarse, we are mentioned in it. God made us man.. There is science in the bible... Just some folks have a hard time seeing it that way...

Yes indeed, I quite agree. I'd even go so far as to say the Bible contains more actual science than most modern textbooks.

No doubt, speaking of modern textbooks, the bible is such a thing, look at how God has used science for people to know the word.
Without the invention of the printing press still in use today along with the computer in Modern times, both are sciences, computer science and engineering science. That's without even opening to page one of the bible. So in my opinion there's some respect to that concept of that alone. How The Word reaches into the hands of millions and millions of people.

Inside the bible are tons of sciences within.

1. Astronomy
2. Chemistry
3. Earth and Environment Sciences
4. Life Sciences

4.1 Botany
4.2 Agronomy
4.3 Zoology
4.4 Genetics
4.5 Molecular Biology
4.6 Biochemistry
4.7 Neuroscience
4.8 Surgery

5. Mathematics
6. Application of Science
7. Physics

Of coarse creation is one that probably stands out the most, though the sciences at work are far more advance than we can comprehend nonetheless they are of A God scale level. But we are learning more of his ways through our own development of the sciences. Elementary indeed yet still connected.

A Couple I like as well are, the ark story, God taught Noah what was needed the mathematical structure of the vessel its size as well as the engineering structure on how to make it float. One being the keel of the ship which is most important, the foundation of the boat, without a properly built keel the ship wouldn't float very well and possibly even just rolling over on the high seas. Interesting enough is how perfect it was built, for there was no model or test run to see the soundness of the structure. It was built, the waters came and the ship floated perfectly.

I like this too on chemistry, Jesus turns water into wine need I say more, lol.. Though that was not 101 chemistry more like 1001 hehe. Again advance as it is creation and the art of creation has a structure involved that's of sciences. Explorer the scripture with a open mind and logically and you'll see many hidden mysterious things. :)

Yea very good points. I like your example of Noah's Ark, never really thought of it in that lens, but I see what you mean.

I'd add too that Noah believed and trusted God fully, he didn't question rather the ship would float or be sound. He built it loaded the ship up with animals, his family and off he went. Not doubting the journey, in a symbolic way The ark was, so to speak, a coffin to him: he entered it, and became a dead man to the old world; and within its enclosure he was floated into a new world.

Yes, now that one is a thought I have had before. Sort of a symbolic and yet also literal baptism also with the Flood.

Indeed, and not just of Noah either, but literally all the earth and creatures aboard the Ark as well. Lol but if we keep going on this vein of thought we'll be quite far away from the original topic lol. Also I will have to be going in about 15 minutes here. Definitely interesting though.
