the gospel is about repentance, confession and walking righteously

The gospel is first and foremost NEWS. News about the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and all that was accomplished through it. Repentance, faith ect. Is our response TO the gospel but is NOT the gospel. The gospel is news. It is not love God love people, that is the law. The gospel is news about Christ and all that He accomplished.
