Masturbation is a sexual immorally, period. This is not we are called to strife for! As Jesus said: If your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.

As it is written: "Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit."

masturbation is not in the sex laws. fornication is sexual immorality. no one is perfect. i know of know one that lives a perfect life and never sins ever. condemning and judging those that make mistakes and fall into sin is not the proper way to follow the example of Jesus.
if i made a list of all the temptations and sins that cause so many problems in our world, masturbation would not make my top 100. i think there are far more important things Christians should be focused on.

Masturbation is definitively not the proper way to follow the example of Jesus!

Although masturbation seems inoffensive, the reality is that appetite comes with eating. We do not fight the urge of the flesh by the flesh but by the Spirit.

What would the Lord says if we don’t fight the good fight, if we don't strife to be like Him?

i try and follow the example of Jesus, but not sure i would try to be like the Almighty. IMO its provoking to think of ones self an equal of the Heavenly Father Himself.
