The truth is right here buddy.
Harpazo. The "snatching OUT".

https://www.blueletterbible.org/lexicon/g726/kjv/tr/0-1/

Outline of Biblical Usage
  1. to seize, carry off by force
  2. to seize on, claim for one's self eagerly
  3. to snatch out or away

OUT of this situation:
Rev 3:10
Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

Fortunately we are not of this world, and will not be dwelling upon the earth at his point in prophetic history. This "snatching out" is known as our "blessed hope".

Tit 2:13
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

So when are you going to quote the rapture from the word of God and not a dictionary?

Or are you saying the dictionary is the word of God and the bible is not?

Not sure where you are heading with this conversation but you are not being clear either. When we say the word rapture we all understand it the snatching up of the living righteous.

17 then we who are alive, who are left, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air;

The discussion is about the rapture .A word not found in the bible. An unbiblical word.

I was told it takes place before the day of the Lord when the Lord comes to Jerusalem.

I finally figured out what Shilohfoal wanted to say. He was saying the Day of the Lord was the term for the rapture where I myself do not have a problem with. He owes you an apology.

I know you and I also disagree on many things especially the pre-trib rapture but we can I guess agree to disagree.

Well now ,that a lie.

I never said the day of the Lord is the rapture I'm not the one who brought up the rapture .
I was speaking about the day of the Lord. The day the heavens depart as a scroll being rolled together and the resurection takes place. The day of the great earthquake mentioned in revelation.

I don't see the Bible verse you are attempting to quote.

Can you copy and paste the verse you are trying to quote?

I see the Feasts of the Lord very much in play. Next up is Feast or Trumpets not for the rapture but the beginning of the Tribulation
Indeed the feast days always mark out prophetic time and events.
However I believe that the harpazo will not be linked to any feast day (regardless of what Fruchtenbaum says).

I could be wrong about that though.......:unsure:

Right there man. Strongs G726. Harpazo.

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up G726 together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

G726 - harpazō - Strong's Greek Lexicon (kjv) (blueletterbible.org)

Outline of Biblical Usage
  1. to seize, carry off by force
  2. to seize on, claim for one's self eagerly
  3. to snatch out or away
Strong’s Definitions [?](Strong’s Definitions Legend)

Hmmm thought I would share the rapture would be on Pentecost.

The Blessed Day which is another term for this glorious day would be 1335 days into the tribulation from the Feast of Trumpets. Dan 12:12
