Please re-read Matthew 15:12-14.

In verse 13 Jesus is pointing out that there are two types of people (among those who claim to serve God).

One type, when they don't know something, knows how to go to God (until God answers them, and...) until God plants them solidly, in peace, in truth.

The other type don't know how to do that. When they don't know something they basically run around looking for the answer until somebody says something that seems to make sense, or they themselves come up with some answer that seems to make sense. And then they rely on (and perhaps even teach) that answer.

The problem with the second group is that the beginning, middle and end of that process is ungodly. (Ungodly simply means "without God").

Both types started out without God but the first group refuses to reach a conclusion without God's direct involvement. The second group is basically hasty and impatient, not having learned to "wait on the Lord" and/or to "tarry" until he comes.

If you can't see the difference, or see yourself in the second type, all is not lost. You simply need to choose some topic you are unsure or unsettled about and take it to God in prayer until HE gives you the answer... and don't be hasty. Keep praying until you know it is God himself that has answered you.

BTW, It doesn't have to happen all at one sitting... You may have to go to him multiple times before he answers, but he will answer you because he loves you.

Just don't be hasty or impatient to the point of giving up. Remember the parable of the unjust judge.

Once you learn how to ask and receive in your prayer closet, you will no longer be blind, and God can start showing you which leaders actually are still blind so you won't be led into the ditch by them.

I wish you well on your journey.

Love in Jesus,
Kelby

Verses 16 through 20 reveal to us the true message Jesus was teaching. Praise God for His goodness.
