Kyle Butt is okay, but Greg Bahnsen and James R. White are better. Greg Bahnsen has a very good series presentation on the consequences of atheism as a worldview.

So according to this video. If something happened on tomorrow that proved god didn't exist... Then every single one of you would have no morals and you'd all start going to brothels etc. do you think that little of yourselves to believe that would be true?

Absolute nonsense.

The consequence of the assertion that 'everyone chooses the incentives to live as they find best' is that you get the distribution of beliefs and behaviors that exist in the world now. If one claims free will, it is a choice.

We do have several countries who have outlawed all religion. North Korea and the old Soviet Union are two that come to mind.

Who would say they are better off for having that "state run atheism"? Anyone want to go live in North Korea? Anyone willing to say the Soviet Union was a Shangri La?

Now compare that to countries which are mostly Christian. Properity, freedom of speech, freedom of the press.

I know which ones I would prefer to live in.

Isn't the Korean leader supposed to be some sort of god? Sent by birds or something.

Still religion. Just not your particular brand

One thing about an enemy is that if you keep feeding it attention it will get stronger.

I'm really wanting to take the Lord's advice on this, to dust off and go on to the next place that welcomes you.

Honestly my biggest fear is that this organised hatred group called New Atheism is going to do something seriously bad. Some of these atheists are real villains. Like Dick Cheney evil.

Until two years ago I had always been an atheist, but with basically the same morals I've got now. And you know why? Because doing good has always made me feel good. And doing bad things has always made me feel really bad. Even if I wouldn't get rewarded once I die. And most people are this way, including atheists.

There are, of course, always bad people that will try to do whatever is bad, but this isn't influenced by religion. When good people read the Bible, they will mainly notice and preach the teachings of Jesus about love and doing well to your neighbors, while bad people will mainly notice genocide, punishing people etc., and preach that. And the same counts for atheists. While the vast majority of atheists want the world to be peaceful and harmonious, there will always be a part that hates love.

Yeah but most people who commit awful acts do it not because of their belief or lack of. If someone performs an evil act its assumed he did it cos hes an atheist. There seems to be a view here that atheists are awful people who lead lives of evil and debauhary.

Even a believer who used to be an atheist was never just an atheist. They were always an atheist with an addiction or an atheist with a violent past etc, always tying a negative trait to atheist.

...and what about the former Soviet Unuion? It was built on the premise that religion of all forms is evil. We all know how bad it was.

Considering Camus's desire to acknowledge love and morality without reference to theological concerns, how did he hope to create a moral utopia based solely on humanism?

The Russians are just nuts though aren't they lol. As strong an atheist i am I would never gun down clergymen. That's not atheism, that's just being crazy.

But your comments still hold validity. I often say to ppeople how dangerous religion can be in the wrong hands. Russia
highlights how it can go the other way too.

Your question is similar to, "what is the moral implication of nothing?"
